Kira Buckland, the English voice of our very own Honoka (and others like Edna in Tales of, Umi in Love Live etc.) Just announced officially that she is the English voice of 2B.

I knew it was her, I could tell from the demo. Idk where people got this Tara Platt person.

Well Yuri voices 9S and it would seem perfect for husband and wife to voice two characters together. And don't make it sound like Tara is irrelevant, she voices Anna in Tekken as well as Setsuka and Laura from SFV, she's actually well known.

Actually he doesn't, I also didn't say that she was irrelevant... I was just curious why people thought it was Tara Platt voicing her

You made it sound kinda like that when you said "This Tara Platt person" , and what do you care anyway? XD you're always going on about how Japanese voices are better, I'd expect you to play the demo in Japanese if they had that option...

Well, to be fair. English voice acting in gaming has it's history of...failures. Just look at RE1 (classic), House of The Dead's 1-3, VF, etc lol

To be fair, it's not like the Japanese Voice Acting is all that stellar either once you get into the meat of it or ask the Japanese themselves.

You have to admit that some failures turned out to be a bigger success in the long run...

WHAT IS A MAN? A MISERABLE LITTLE PILE OF SECRETS!!!

I would say that is mainly localizations, which can be just as good or bad. Remember, Kefka was NEVER like he is now in the Japanese version, it was the English version that gave him the personality that mainly rolled with after that.

I would have bought it early myself if it wasn't for the fact that it's cheaper waiting, I get a sweet t shirt and if it wouldn't mean not being able to afford all the games because of point number one lol

I personally think it's silly to get a game on an account that's not your primary one or at least it is for me, but I understand those who couldn't wait. I actually might play the demo again today and actually take screenshots and angle shots...I couldn't last time because I felt rushed and that prevented me from actually taking pics. I'll try to replicate the 2B underwear thing too:cool:

I'm just waiting to mess around with its combat system a bit more, and see what is the dark twist of this game i guess.

Ha ha yeah I normally wouldn't especially with the US release so close but I couldn't wait. Ended up getting the Asian version on my HK account for 70 instead of 60 USD but oh well. :p

There is a ton of gameplay variety btw. In addition to hack n slash and bullet hell, some areas are platform-esque at times (very basic but I think it still counts. Lol), boss fights are normally arena style but there are some 2D plane fights to mix it up.

The music is also incredible (feels foreign but beautiful. Idk how else to describe it lol) and a really cool thing happens to it at certain points although I won't say what since that's a spoiler.

Story is fantastic as well. Very bizarre and even comedic at times but can quickly become dark. You don't know which characters you can trust.

Thats the Japanese version lol HK PSN sells Japanese games, note it only says English/Japanese?

I looked at HK PSN Asia version is advertised as 27th April.

Ah got it. Sorry misunderstood. As long as I can play in English I'm good. XD Not to mention I dislike JP PSN given I can't read it and games tend be much pricier.
