Only 50%? it comes out in like 2 weeks lol

Also, I bought type-0 to play Episode Duscae the codes still work on PS4 for some reason. Also, Type-0 is better than I remember it used to make me motion sick with the camera.

Some gameplay of FFXV maxed out on PC and first person mode (which will also be in the console version of the Royal Edition):

Reason for the inclusion of a first person mode:
Tabata: “The biggest reason [behind the first-person mode] was that we wanted players who only usually play first-person mode games on PC to take an interest in FFXV. Currently, we have only reached about 50 per cent [completion] on this mode, but we feel the gameplay has a certain freshness to it and it’s been well-received among those in the development team. In providing this mode, we needed to make some large adjustments, like the player character’s VFX, displayed animations and camera movement. Even now, we’re still making small, daily adjustments.”

It looks good, same with the first person view though I won't be getting the Windows or Royal editions of the game. I can already just imagine the type of stuff people are going to do in first person mode.. :p I wonder just how much the game will be modded once it hits the pc?

Also how Is everyone with Dissidia? Anyone playing the console or Mobile versions of the game? I hope the console version really isn't doing that bad and that there is a good amount of people that bought it.

If the console version is doing bad Yuna and Fran probably cursed the game tbh because they got excluded from it lol. At least Yuna has a chance to get added later though as dlc, Fran at this point I think It's most likely won't be dlc. I guess she could be though but that also depends really on If they are going to support this game with dlc for a long time or not If it's not done great since apparently It hasn't?

Lol, really? Didn't you play it before? You'll be shocked by the poor image quality and framerate, that beautiful lighting though. O:

yeah, but on Xbox One but now I have my own PS4. Maybe so, but I miss some of it's battle mechanics it makes me nostalgic from when XV was still promising lol

Type-0 is better than I remember it used to make me motion sick with the camera.

Pre-patch on the PS4 still has the motion blur. The newest update of Type-0 removed the motion blur because it was a direct literal port with ghosting and no refresh sync (handhelds usually don't have proper refresh either). The game now matches to your refresh rate, so the very little ghosting and motion blur when turning the camera is gone I hear.

I beat the game on the PS4 before this update was a thing, so maybe now you can get a better visual experience on a journey compared to before where I get a headache looking for someone spinning that camera.

In short, Motion Blur sucks in every game I play that has that on. Never understood on why it's a thing or even a default seting. Topics I see is more or less "Motion blur is to provide a better cinematic view when watching cutscenes or game movies for realism" and yet I find it more annoying to have it on when watching cutscenes or in-game clip/movies. Type-0 was more of a display issue that "caused" motion blur rather than a motion blur setting, so most likely why you had troubles with it.

The motion blur in Type-0 was really terrible (I watched a video of it and it was making me sick too), I'm glad I played it once the game was patched.

As for Dissidia, I haven't played it much because Persona 5 was freaking endless lol (but now I'm done with it) and Yuna is still not in the game (yeah I know it's kinda a silly reason but she was my main) so I'm like waiting for the characters' reveal before going more into it.
I'm playing the mobile version a lot though LOL.

You are lucky. I played the entire game pre-patched with that atrocious problem. If it was full of washed up colors and spinning colored tops bundled up in one small package I would of lost my sanity ages ago and become the wiki of seizure.

I thought about getting back on the game, but I already platinum'd it so I dunno.

DISSIDIA NT / ARCADE UPDATE:

The arcade version has just been updated with a new stage, the Orbonne Monastery from Final Fantasy Tactics, in all it's faithfully constructed glory... and for some, maybe a little TOO faithful.

Also, certain characters have also been given some balance changes.

Emperor Mateus:
+ BRV attack Beckoning Blast is now easier to aim.
+ BRV Thunder Crest has better tracking and no tracking distance limit. Projectile speed increased.

Onion Knight:
- HP attack Sword & Sorcery's BRV damage reduced from 240 to 160.

Cecil:
+ HP attack Holy Flame (PLD) has better visibility and is easier to hit.

Bartz:
? BRV attack Monk has a new animation when mastered; first and second hit had been adjusted.

Terra:
- The absorb speed for BRV Tornado (Charge) had been nerfed.
- BRV Thundara's wall rush property has been removed.

Cloud:
+ All fully charged BRV attacks now have poise (priority) over almost every BRV attack, including Finishing Touch vs. other projectile attacks.

Ultimecia:
+ Starting frames of HP attack Hell's Judgment reduced by 5 frames, can be canceled earlier.

Vaan:
? HP attack Calamitous Orb's projectiles are fired 5 times, exactly one second after the other.

Noctis:
+ BRV attacks Reckless Abandon and Noble Charge are now easier to wall rush.

Ramza:
+ The Normal and Shout versions of BRV attack Graceful Swings can be cancelled earlier.
+ The Shout version of BRV attack Golden Cross can be cancelled earlier.
+ The Normal versions of Rush and Airborne Rush can be cancelled earlier.
- BRV attack Blade Flash's AOE reduced.
+ HP attack Earth Render's AOE increased; improved visibility.
+ Starting frames of HP attack Holy reduced by 5 frames; can be cancelled earlier.

Ace:
+ BRV attack High Burst has an increased projectile size; tracking slightly improved.
? BRV Mega Burst is now a visible projectile.
? BRV attack Short Stop is blockable, but still casts stop on impact.
+ BRV Long Stop has faster projectile speed, guard stagger is increased from 42 to 67 frames.
? Mega Stop is now a visible projectile.

While this update is all well and good, the bad news is that NT players will have to wait one month after for this update, which by that time we'll be getting our first DLC character. Sucks to be us... for now.

Yes! character changes! is the update out already?

Looks like Terra took the nerf hammer. Ace is a little bit of a mix, unexpected on Onion Knight nerf bat.

We have to admit, Emperor and Cloud got it really good on this one. Once Cloud charges his moves to max, now you "definitely" have to move/block rather than priority attack over his maxed offense. Especially since I run into Cloud players like 60% of the matches.

If the stream is anything to go by and Trueblade Seeker's info is correct, we won't be seeing this update for a whole month, which sucks. If DOA5LR is anything to go by, you would expect them to give us the balance patch this week at the bare minimum.

Truthful, my only reason of getting FFXV on PC is to mod it and do more than break barriers. It will probably play better on PC yeah, but that's literally my solid go-to reason to play it for modding. If I couldn't do that, I'd stick with the standard on PS4 pro.

Ehh, even tho it would be nice to mod it, I don't want to pay another $60 for a game I bought like two years ago

You can say that again.

I personally can't wait for my DOA x Homestuck crossover, or Tekken x Cory In The House.

How about Dangan Ronpa x Wallace and Gromit while we're at it.

AKIBA'S TRIP X SHAUN THE SHEEP

Wow...lol, Those outfits just look so shockingly bad. I have no clue why they would collab with that and choose those outfits to do but I guess it's cause it's on pc.

Soooo.... is nobody gonna comment on the fact SE trademarked "Idol Fantasy"? A Final Fantasy Idol Raiding Sim!? Either this is gonna be SE's THE iDOLM@STER/Love LIve or it's gonna be Final Fantasy Dancing All Night kinda game.

That could be cool depending on what it is like, I've never really seen the dancing all night games though. Didn't actually know though that they'd trademarked that. Guess it would be like Final Fantasy characters singing and dancing to FF songs in FF stages, Yuna singing real emotion would be an obvious choice to add to that game then.
