If you had to choose one retro stage [DOA5U]

We don't need no damn Great Opera. Who in the absolute fuck chose that over Dragon Hills? Sad times..

I think people are just desperate for any DOA 2 stage. Ha ha. But Dragon Hills was my 2nd favorite right behind Aerial Garden. I also liked how you could fall into that room.

OK, I confess. I did it. But hear me out.

If the BGM Plus editor allowed us to play music from the HDD in specific stages, I'd have some use for my music from Final Fantasy 6 (specifically the opera music). But that's the ONLY reason! That and it's cool fighting in an opera engulfed in flames. It still doesn't take away from the awesomeness of Dragon Hills, and I wish I could vote for both, but dad-gummit, Nobuo Uematsu's music gives me them feels...

I think you should be more concerned over the fact that a DOA4 stage made top three. Great Opera was a nice stage and I'd easily take that over any of the trash from DOA4.

Well, this is our TOP 3 :

AERIAL GARDENS
LORELEI
GREA... WAIT, SEASIDE MARKET (didn't see this one coming)
GREAT OPERA

Twitted them, RT for major relevance :) https://twitter.com/Kronin1/status/349834890201673728

Well, personally I think that DoA4 had some great stages too.

Well I guess it's a matter of taste then. It was very important in DOA2 and I've always loved infinite-tiered stages.
And the burning version is amazing. With the HD graphics, it would be even more epic. I mean, the red curtains burning, the red seats, the beautiful ceiling.. plus it has stairs!

Do you prefer the old infinite tiers version in DoA2, or the remade one in DoA2U with the added option to set the fire on/off?

I would say the first one, cause that's the version I played the most, but I guess a mix of the two would be the best thing :

3-4 tiers (DOA2 balcony where Ayane tells her she killed her mum, then one of DOA2 infinite tier (with the gree, carpet), then DOA2U stairs/scene/front seats). With the burning option and Blazed Up Melpomene theme. :D Wait it's too big. Doesn't make any sense.

If I had to choose, I would choose the DOA2 version then... with a burning option. ^^

In DOA2U if you pressed X on the stage select, it would do a pristine/shiny version of the stage without the fire/smoke/embers.

That version was my personal favorite.

Here's a thought that would combine multiple stages and put them in 1:

Have Freedom Survivor and then allow fighters to break the windows and fall down into the cruise's bottom level:

The Aquarium! With the difference of course being that it's located in a ship so you'd be further up from the ground and the water would be moving past you.

Lol I enjoyed all the industrial and street stage in DOA 5. I forgot about L Castle. Old school plain feel with giant temple in the background

ALL DOA6 DOA5 DOA4 DOA3 DOA2U DOAD
