He only has only mid tracking move at the minute, yet it's so slow that it never hits anyone. And it's mid string as well. This move fixes that problem. Anyway, check out this thread for a more in-depth analysis of the problem of having an almost completely linear moveset: http://www.freestepdodge.com/threads/how-would-you-improve-eliot-in-doa5u.2910/

The problem is Belinea during gameplay this move was also painfully slow as well and very easily countered. It's like Eliot is just sticking his leg out there waiting for someone to grab it.

So the moral of the story is that they ignore us whether we're nice or not?
When it comes to this "community," I think so... Yes.

I was playing UMvC3 (or whatever the hell it is) with my nephew. This game is the most random thing I have ever played (which, I think is saying alot coming from DOA). And, I was wondering how the hell this game is taken so serious while DOA is always the "shit" game?.. I think its because that community just plays the game, rather than bitch non-stop. No fighter is perfect, even VF isn't (IMO, the best). Yet we are the only "community" that will set and ruin the game for ourselves. Until that stops, it doesn't matter if TN listens or not.

Also, for the record, I will never be a part of the grap3 hate train

DyByHands I think you made a good point. I usually try and stay away from making negative character comments and let a few new gameplay vids from SJ7 get to me.

I think the biggest reason for the chaos right now in our community is attributed to the game not being released yet with only an online stream as our only basis for the changes that will soon be coming.

But he's right guys we need to pull ourselves together and quit being so negative on here.

I'll take slow over nothing (4pk doesn't really count) any day of the week. Eliot is already dreadfully slow anyway, so it fits with the rest of his moveset. Its chances of being countered, like everything in this game, relies entirely on your ability to non-telegraph the attack imo.

Please don't get me wrong here. I'm not hating on the DOA community. I consider myself part of it and have been lurking for awhile. I respect alot of you on here. But, this community isn't very inviting and seems to fall off quickly. Which, needs to change... I'll leave it there.

*Back to topic* TN has kept their cool on their social media pages. Saying that you witnessed a change you may not like, so trash the character, is not feedback. And, neither is demanding hair and absurd characters. So I understand why they started getting bitchy on their twitter. Who cares.

But, most are pissed, all for different reasons, before they even become the consumer? Can't make everyone happy. I'll enjoy it anyways ;)

I was wondering what happened to you. Didn't think you were lurking the whole time; I thought you were just really busy.

Have been busy but I'm always checking in. People need to watch out for that Christie!
I need to watch out for bills first. If Goku can't even pay 'em on time, I'm gonna need a lot more help to get out there and travel. That, and more self-confidence.

On-topic, I will admit I am kinda burned that Christie's trenchcoat has yet to be revealed (it's been my main request for Christie for a while now), but even I know when to show restraint when I've done all I could to bring awareness. It keeps the company listening to you in the future, though it may not look it in the now. Patience, and learning to appreciate what you do have within reason, is key.

Go to an offline tournament. You won't see anyone parading around insulting everyone. The people who show up are all really nice!
