Poor Ayane. She was the trendsetter and yet she didn't gets it. No wonder most of her costume choices in 5 were stale.

"Titles are earned based on fight records carried over from DOA5 in addition to your fight records in DOA5U, so if you were going for 3,000 victories to get the title, you can simply pick up where you left off!"

Oh great... not only does this make that grind I did to get Akira's 3000 win title before 5U pointless, but it also means I'm STUCK WITH A CRAPPY 65.0% WIN RATIO. (Ehh, I'm still satisfied with the achievement and at least this means I just need 900 or so more wins to get the Hayate title.) For just about everyone else though this is really convenient.
I hope to God your vanilla wins just count as points towards titles and is a separate ratio for viewing rather than adding it to your 5U record. I'd really like to start over. Vanilla wins should could as points towards titles but win/loss records themselves shouldn't count towards your 5U record. It's suppose to be practically a different game, right?

That doesn't apply anymore. The new system has it where if you disconnect or leave during a match it counts as a loss in any online mode. All ragequitting does now is make you look like even more of a loser than you already are.
Unfortunately this means that people that genuinely lose their connection have to suffer a loss, especially unfortunate if the player in question was going to win, but it's a necessary evil and the lesser of two.
