All characters will be available and idk about gamestop. If they're open tomorrow (I forget if the store is open on labor day) I guess you could call and ask. It is the day before though so I'm not sure how that works.

As long as there are copies that haven't been reserved yet, I'm pretty sure you can pre-order up till the day of release.
