If Tengu turns out to be an arcade exclusive I may or may not throw my Playstation out the window in a juvenile fit of rage.

Of course there is no hint of Tengu in this DLC, but actually he remain the candidate most likely for the role of next character. And about the presence or less of this character like DLC or exclusive to the Arcade, few time ago I wrote a post about some elements in the game that make certain the future character DLC for the console versions:

The date of the announcement of the next character for the Arcade (while DoA5U wasn't still full released) should make it obvious, however the elements listed over should dissipate any doubt about the later release of the character like DLC.

PS: In the random filter page for the stages there is an empty place suitable to include three new ones: maybe they will be released sooner or later? According to me a new stages together with the next character is possible.

About the stage, I always hope that could be a mutli tier stage (not because I dislike the plan stages, IMO TN made a great work with all the new ones for DoA5U, but the multi tier are the most funny IMO).

Multi-tier means super-Izunas so I'm game with that.

Why do you predict only 12 costumes though? Christie, Kokoro, Mila, Lei Fang, Ayane, Lisa, and Helena are non-VF females so the chances of them having outfits are very good. Hayabusa will most likely get one if Hayate is getting one. And as cool as it would be to play kid eliot Icarus the tweet did imply that it was Hayate ("Fly like the ____").

Yeah.. well.. it was different.
It was more colorful/fantasy (Experimental Playground) than gritty/realistic (Fuel), it was more poetic (Brad/Kokoro tag, the kata during the opening) than raw (Lei/Tomi boring tag, no opening but a fap video mode), more tragic (Helena's story mode) than action-based (ninjas chasing Fake Kasumi), more creative (Kokoro, Eliot, Lisa) than federative (Mila, Rig), more rock'n'roll (Aerosmith) than rap-ish (Lotus Juice/Chosen).

I personally prefered DOA4's atmosphere/packaging, but DOA5(U) is much more better for everything else.
Glad TN tried to change that "serious" atmosphere with Zack's Island and now a Halloween stage.
