Recently I resumed Ninja Gaiden Black, trying to end the last missions that I still miss to complete; I have the suspicion that Fiend-Murai is really easy to beat, despite of it I'm not able to find a good strategy to beat him normally. In the end I tried with the cheap way to use the Dabilahro and equip the "Armlet of Celerity" for using only Ultimate techniques for beating him, but I'm never able to completely finish him. Someone could give me some suggestions about?
In addition, I would need also of some advices for Eternal Legend (mainly about what to use/buy along the mission).

As for Eternal Legends you can upgrade anything you want really but its best to get the Dabby to lvl 3 first, and no point in upgrading the DS cuz if i remember correctly you get the TDS in a chest

by the time u reach the eternal lengend u already know how to beat any enemy/boss so I dare say its not that hard, theres a talisman in the tower (I think its the 3rd floor, u jump down to the 2rd floor and u will see it, in the story mode u see a scarab instead) save it for the last part.the last bosses are alone (ishtaros and the "alma copy/paste") so its even easyer to beat her here, unlike that mission were she gets help from those "ghosts"
I didnt upgrate the dragon sword because u get the true form before the 3rd/last part
I always upgrade the thunder ninpo to level 2
and dabilahro to max level
the rest is up to u (ur playstyle), medecine or whatever u like, I think what I said its the needed basics

The main pain about Eternal Legend is that if you're a perfectionist like me and want to keep your Talisman of Rebirth until the final stretch, you can't easily die/respawn throughout the entire thing because the Talisman will automatically activate. NG 1 needed a system like NG2 where you could activate/deactivate the Talismans.
Anyway, Eternal Legend gives you the DOA Throwback outfit as you probably know. Best reward ever.

You get one costume for beating Normal, one costume for beating Hard, one costume for beating Very Hard, nothing for Master Ninja, and then the DOA Throwback for Eternal Legend.
IIRC:
Normal mode: Ashtar
Hard mode: Red Scarf
Very Hard: Blue Ryukenden
Maybe it's possible to beat Master Ninja and get the classic throwback costume. I just wanted it quick so I could use it on the higher difficulties, so I went and unlocked it ASAP in Eternal Legend.

The fact is that in the mission mode my bar life is much more little, but overall I have the possibility to use only 1 ninpo.
Another strategy?

If your talking about the mission where he has 2 minions and each time you kill them harder minions come (I think the last 2 minions are the brown giant scythe fiends or 2 berserkers) I would not kill the minions and just fight murai

when u start the mission theres some optional battles in each floor, if u kill all the enemies in the very end u get rewarded with some stuff, I dont remember what it is but I belive one is a life upgrade.gill and brute may remember what it is
there no 100 missiles/incediary Kunai on the screen like ng2, so it is easyer to keep a good defence even with that camera. I honestly cant see how the camera could be better, it could be more distante but I like to see my character in detail not in MMO prespective.the camera in metal gear rising its way worse, thats one of the reasons I didnt get the game, thankfuly I got DmC instead and I loved it, still play vergil downfall sometimes...I cant get SSS in the last mission Hell and Hell difficulty those witches are so damm hard to defeat with vergil =(
