明日発売のファミ通で「DOA5U Arcade」の追加キャラクター公開。土曜からのロケテでももちろん触れますよ。#DOA5UA

According to TN's last tweet, we'll have the new character tomorrow in Famitsu (or am I reading wrong?)

I don't hate Lisa. I actually like Lisa because she's intelligent and for being different from the common black girl stereotypes who just shakes their humps and rumps all day long. (I can understand it if she does that for the La Mariposa gimmick since it's a legit reason)

If the new character ended up not being Tengu I'd be very interested in seeing who it would be, as long as it wasn't a VF character, another new character would frankly be awesome. Ryo Hazuki would be cool but I've had my fill of guest characters we won't be seeing in the future.

Of course, I support the Tengu fans. It would be great to see everyone get what they want. I better start seeing a lot of freaking Tengus online when he's released as much as people talk about him... I literally only saw one person ever use him on 4....

Tengu's never been super-popular and I doubt he ever will be. It's just that the small fanbase he has is very dedicated.

That cause he was ridiculously difficult to unlock. Fuck I didn't even know he was In the game till a year later. Bit of a surprise considering DOA4 was my first I was like "who the fuck is this!? and why am I JUST now seeing him!?"

Yeah, but I'm sure TN will find a way to make him more popular : just like Bass, make him more viable and make him lost some weights. And make him not unlockable.
It's okay to have "less popular" characters as long as all the fanbases are happy.

I would be surprised if the character revealed tomorrow (when is "tomorrow" in Japan ?) isn't Tengu.

And yet I still see way less Bass' than any other character by a significant margin.

Tengu is ripped as fuck. Always has been.
He was the buffest dude in DOA2, and it wasn't fat. Solid, toned muscle.
