Marirose is really cute and also if I agree that the gothic lolita is surely not an original character type, in the roster of DoA she is surely unique. Sadly I don't think that we could expect too much for her characterization, for the simple reason that she will not have a part in the plot. People make fun of the story mode, but actually it's just what allow to a character to show a personality, something that a backstory and a bunch of poses can't substitute: I think that no one can say that the final picture of Mila and Rig emerging from their role in the story is the same of what we were able to read in her bio or see in their animations; Leon and Ein are old acquitances, while Rachel and Momiji are already characterized in another series.
Sadly Marirose wouldn't benefit of anything of all this, but considering like Team Ninja really decided to give a big focus to the new characters of Rig and Mila making them main ones in the Mist and Tournament plots, I'm sure that they will give a big role also to Marirose in DoA6
She's the cutest fucking thing ever oh my god. But with the whole blonde hair do & her being revealed with a regular Lorelei do you think she's gonna be connected to Helena some how?
I don't know, but I would love to see her like another stepsister of Helena and Kokoro (Fame Douglas continue to give show... XD) However we haven't to judge only from the appearences, Lorelei was very likely the best stage for showing her (being a castle that is perfectly associated with the gothic style) and her blonde pig-tails haven't to be necessarily connected with Helena's blonde ponytail XD (even Rig seemed associated to Bayman before the release of DoA5).
So is this character coming to consoles? I don't think TN would pass up on the opportunity for extra money, but then again I thought that with the Warriors Orochi costumes and TN was like: "Fuck you. We hate your ass if you're not Japanese!" so I'm honestly not sure anymore.
Team Ninja announced the Arcade Edition with a new character, even before the full release of DoA5U: would be a silly move to announce an exclusive content for a new edition, when you haven't still fully released not a simple old version of that game, but even a remake of that game.
More like I said various times:
- The empty place for another character (and only one

) in the random character filter;
- The empty place for 3 extra victories poses in the movie section;
- The empty place for 1 extra losing pose in the movie section;
- The presence of an extra slot dedicated to the random selection (dices).
They seem to me all hints saying that TN had already planned to add a DLC character to DoA5U later (very likely to promote the Arcades giving a reason for being interested to them having, for a temporary period, something extra compared to the console versions already in the Japanese homes).
About the Warrior Orochi costumes, you can be sure that they will arrive on the European and American market, the new policy of Team Ninja is only to create temporary exclusives (the only exception is the Hayabusa Epigonos outfit in the Xbox and Ps3 versions of Razor's Edge with inside a save of the original NG3, a sort of "apology" for the owners of the unsatisfactory Vanilla version).
There are really no doubts about, in a recent tweet Team Ninja has also announced like the Ragnarok Ace outfit for Kasumi will be released also on Xbox (and honestly there would be no reason for doing it, seeing that the Ragnarok game is a PS3 exclusive and the outfit of course want promote the game).
PS: On a related note, I'm not more sure that original Lorelei is a good news... sure, I'm glad to see the return of the original DoA3 stage, but sadly I have the suspect that it will end to cover one of the 2 empty slots for new DLC stages in the Random filter stage. This would be a sort of waste of space, when we could get for example Aerial Gardens and Dragon Hills, or some other new or old stage in the place of a clone of Lorelei.
I hope that DoA3 Lorelei will be treated like a variant of Haunted Lorelei, but I doubt about it...
