Really!? I need to be googling this.
Considering the amount of videos that pour out for games like Tekken, BB, GG, P4AU etc. You'd assume there'd at least be a few videos of the game. But literally, I've only come across 1 since it's release 2 days ago... 3 days ago now =P

I think there'd need to be a big promotional tournament or something to get the ball rolling. Those other games are pretty established competitive-scene wise in Japan. This the first time that DOA has been back in arcades in a looooooong time. Plus, this release is after it already was for home consoles so the "new and exciting" part isn't as high.
LMAO It's honestly not that bad. It's not as segmented as the other characters because I think its supposed to look as if it's curled and I think it looks really nice, especially in in game screenshots

You say that, because you are focused a little too much on just Helena. Actually, there are several characters, where Team Ninja graphically screwed up in the one or other regard.
Brad Wong's hair for example is very low polygon, Eliot's default hair has really low resolution textures, they forgot to give Ein's hair some sort of shine (even though Hayate's hair does shine), Rachel's ponytail is weirdly twitching, when she stands still in her victory pose, Hitomi's hair has serious clipping problems and Hayabusa's hair has low resolution textures, his ponytail is not really better than Helena's and in his loser pose, there's some graphical error going on.
