Well yes, would be a shame, but at least the fans of Raidou's kind of character (the classic one sharing moves from all the roster) could be satisfied.
By the way her fighting style is called first of all Mugen Tenshin, so I think that the ninjutsu should be the strong basis (and so the copied moves could be a minority).
If this speculation is accurate, they're both copy cats.
And he had some badass facial hair.

While I would love for Raidou to come back, if Phase 4 happens to be the mimic of DOA5U, I'll definitely pick her up. Mimics are very fun, especially if they're done in the style of Raidou and Dural (VF) are done. I'd rather the mimic have modified moves from all the characters rather than just outright copy one style per round. I look forward to Phase 4.

She probably had if she wasn't constantly shapeshifting and changing her moveset.
While I would love for Raidou to come back, if Phase 4 happens to be the mimic of DOA5U, I'll definitely pick her up. Raidou, much like Tengu, is dead so it would make no sense to have him come back just to fulfill the mimic role.
