Like Marbus in NG3 was so buggy and you think in NGRE they would fix him but nope
Don't get me started on that fucking Helicopter.
^Basically this. This issue was essentially non-existent in NG1, but when NG2 rolled around, it began. Wasn't too bad then, though. It mostly appeared on wonky bosses like the Greater Fiends. Then NG3 rolls around and it basically felt like the whole game was just prancing around waiting until an enemy did something stupid to become vulnerable for a brief moment. The biggest issue I have is the ability most bosses have to choose when you can hit them. The Regent is probably the worst offender. They are basically invincible until an arbitrary event happens somewhere deep within the game engine to allow a moment of vulnerability. No hitstun either on most attacks.

Blade of Nirriti would lift 'em up, so you at least had that.I think in NG2 the wolves didnt even have vulnerable moments and no hit stun, they would just attack and grab you through your attacks lol XD
Hahah!I make myself rage less [more?] by imagining the game playing co-op against me. One part of the game is constantly Rachel Spinning (Sigma 2 players will understand) and the other part chooses when to attack.
ew bossesI dont know shit about the enemies aside from the greater fiends, all i play in ngs2 is Master 3 trial with bota and DS lol XD
ew bosses
Iol you dont like them?
Not really.NG2's were horrible though, and that's being generous.
Think Hayate's DOA cartwheel but in Ninja Gaiden.Someone explain the rachel spinning thing?
To further elaborate on Brute's post, if you used Rachel and spun the camera just right while using her dodge constantly she was completely invincible. It was used in co-op to isolate bosses in mutli-boss fights to make things easier and less "How did this make it through testing?!"Someone explain the rachel spinning thing?
The answer? "What testing?"To further elaborate on Brute's post, if you used Rachel and spun the camera just right while using her dodge constantly she was completely invincible.
