i like sysmetry as much as the next anally retentive person, but i know that its not important enough to dictate and major game changes.
The character select screen is already looking cluttered as hell, don't need to make it even more cluttered.

Vanilla 5 is a game I love but I want to forget it, and I hope TN will take their time in future DOAs. I guess it was mostly the pressure of the editor, right, no necessarely the appeal of money ?
I mean, the same happened with SC5 and the unfinished story, crappy mimic characters, etc. What's your theory ?
Come on, TN isn't like Sakurai, why would they troll like this. They don't want to hurt anyone, I'm sure. It's just a teasing for the fans. That's my opinion.

i doubt it, they need to shorten the gap between male and female characters and i don't believe for a second all future characters will be girls

Don't be so sure. It only makes it a joke if he's not added (otherwise the tweet makes no sense). Also, back in vanilla 5 they made a title "Don't give a damn about Tengu". As for me personally, I'm a straightforward kind of person. If you're not going to add someone and you have no intention of doing so don't play these little games and just come out and say it. It's almost like when capcom trolled their fans w/ R. Miku at the beginning of the Decapre trailer.

Tengu had more support from the fans - I think - than Leon himself back in 2013. That would be so mean.

There was an April Fool's joke about a supposed "nude mode" on XBV in an EGM magazine article. It got everyone and their great grandfathers hyped until they learned it was a hoax and got themselves bonerkilled. Doubt TN has anything to do with it directly though.
I never thought I'd see the day I'd be genuinely angry at Team Ninja for such a cruel joke.
At this rate, they're no different from Capcom when it comes to giving the middle finger for things the fans really want. Not to mention, a severe low blow to the passionate Tengu fans who poured their hearts and souls to the awareness of the character.
