Funny thing is they along with Mars were my top 3 favs.

Speaking of Sailor Uranus, I actually think it would be cool if we gotten a more female character like her in DOA. A female who is the perfect blend of masculine and femine (for a character like Sailor Uranus that is)
yeah. ill admit that while Mila is a good blend, shes of he two extremes, while Uranus/King/Maggie Mui are of the more neutral, stoic variety. could use one like that's.e like that

I don't think there is a need to replicate something that is already in the game. The closest person to a valley girl is Tina simply because of her glamour girl occupations.

Mila and Christie.
Mila is too enthusiastic, Christie is too sadistic. and the only thing mascukine about Christie is the tux. I think the term we are looking for is bifawxnen? or something like that.

I forgot skullgirls was a thing. anyone still play that?
I can't stand the superghetto font in her posts....no offense to her personally. its like dyslexia exploded onto her keyboard.

Yes people still play it and they are some streams for it, there was even a re releasefor PC, PS3, and soon Xbox 360 called Skullgirls Encore came out.

I do wonder how it all of a sudden fell off the mainstream fighting game scene though. It's far from dead, but it isn't as big as it used to be though.

I am suprised that it is as big as it is now considering it's an indie fighter, but with the games originality, amazing art styles, unique but with a hint of nostalgic cast, great music, beautiful graphics, interesting storyline, and fun offline/online game modes I can see how.

I'm sure the game will hop back when the Skullgirls 2 is revealed, but Encore is still doing quite great for now. :)

Me. As a matter of fact, the most recent patch come out with Big Band and Squigly.
I know about squigly, but....I never got around to buying it cuz the demo had.t he only character I was interested in lol. that plus it seemed like it would be a joke, as far as fighters go, like Marvel. I just didn't think "marvel with only 8 characters" would last, but ill give it another go. hopefully I'm wrong.

They can still portray masculinity better than the rest. I had always find Christie as androgynous by appearance especially because of the fact that she didn't wore any skirts or dresses in 3 and 4. It's only now that she lost that individuality.

Squigly is still free, I think. They'll be adding another character (remember Fukua? She got a makeover with some new moves) in a few weeks for free (as in forever free, not 3 months free).

Just seemed like.a passing novelty like every other Arcade/PSN game, which is why I figured it died off.

Mila of course, but Christie? between the celebrity feathered hair and makeup, maximum emphasis on her breasts, and notably feminine fighting style, I just can't see anything masculine. I'd put Mila, Rachel, Sarah, and Hitomi as more masculine than Christie.

Different strokes for different folks I guess, I have always been fond of the cute female characters, yeah "SOME" of them might have high pitched and possibly even annoying voices, but it's just another thing that makes them them. Plus it's always fun to see cute video game females, well for me (and many others) of course. Maybe it's the fact that I love anime and have even started watching shows like Sailor Moon, Tokyo Mew Mew, Senran Kagura, Love Ru, Negima, ect that made me grown to like it :)

But my #1 favorite archetype is oujo sama's. Karin from Street fighter, Lili from Tekken, and Rachel from Blazblue are examplesof what one is. Which reminds me, DOA needs one in the future.

No dominatrix outfit wearer would imply themselves as a docile woman (which is a feminine trait).

I'd put...Sarah...as more masculine.

Well that's a given.

She's got a bigger bulge than half of the DOA male cast (which isn't saying much but still...)

When I said a masculine mixed with femine female, I was think more King Or Leo

It's suprising that even as an April Fools Joke/Parody Of Decapre, even she gained fans and was even considered to be added later on because of it.

I really can't wait for Eliza though, I was suprised she won considering that I voted for her.

Now that Big Band is in, Bsowulf is soon to come, and they are many more future males, should the game be called SKULLGIRLS anymore?

Just seemed like.a passing novelty like every other Arcade/PSN game, which is why I figured it died off.

Suprisingly it wasn't the case, I thought it was gonna be a 15 minutes of fame game at first came out. There is another FG that is lower budget called DiveKick that's also being played alot (althouhh I honestly don't know how though lol)

I've never heard someone try to say a woman in a dominatrix outfit is masculine before. emasculating, sure, but masculine? never. rregardless, not the type of masculine we are talking about. we mean "virtually indistinguishable from men in demeanor, to the point of androgyny." Like Mila in her c2 would be it if she stood straight with a stoic expression. bbut she's way to gungho to pull it off.
Skullgals is gonna be a side tourney at Evo again. I don't see it dying off anytime soon.
Nice. I was only ever interested in Cerebella, so demo was enough for me.p
I do, i'm entering a tournament for it and going to a doa one
you'll all get to see my ugly mug on the doa stream :bradwong:
Again, Nice!
