I think the reason majority of the stages are so dull is because they wanted to go with the whole realism thing.

Nothing wrong with that, but realism doesn't equal boring or uninspired. The only fun interesting ones that aren't ng/old doa stages were zack island and the circus stage, and just barely the temple in the jungle (I'd count haunted lorlei but that kinda counts as an old stage but with a redesign)

Where is the stages with the animals or the ones in the middle of the street or the ones where you can hit your opponent through glass and take them down the stairs? Even the past box stages were interesting with the dance club in doa4 and the rainy one in doa2u.

I will admit cliffhangers and hitting your opponent at certain areas are of the stage are fun (and even then there is a lack of that), but they really need to improve in making the quality stages they used to make, even if that means as far as the natural/realism aspect for stages goes away (which I'd probrably prefer)
the problem is that the colors and dynamic stages were a core part.oftge appeal to doa, and yh5 was so bland compared to past installments. also, people think cliffhangers are cool, but forget that in past games, almost every stage had those.

Im okay with realistic stages as long as everything blows up like in Man of Steel. (seriously though, I'd rather the work go to the models first, if it's a matter of resources)

but at the end of the day the story mode in doa5 was much better than the nonsence that was the story in the previous doas.

Exatly, the game looks a bot to dusty now and brownish, the gourgeous color made it even more appealing. They even added little features in the past that made the stages even more fanstastic.

For example, compare the Kasumi premuim swimsuit teaser billboard in the construction site in 5 to the eletronic billboard with a slide show of different DOA girls in swimsuits in the casino stage (which my fav doa stage) from 4.

Also now that you say it, cliffhangers as well as power blows kind did exist in DOAin the past except now they follow upwith a special move

All they really need to do is make some ofthe girls hair longer and thicker, make some of the girls butts bigger, and add more muscle definition to the guys (except Eliot who should go back to his DOA4 body, although that one is only my opinion). And finally give them some nips and make Helena's hair more blond and less yellow

Otherwise the models are perfect and they still need to pay more attention to making the wack stages unwacked (although they could still do both)

Fixed.

You know, it's conversations like this, about stages and characters and DLC that still makes me wonder if DOA is in a Dark Age.

Also, when I asked for a fighter like King or Leo, I meant an androgynous woman. I brought up Eliot because I didn't know if he was the androgynous one or the Shota one.

I have been hiC oboro'd which is a slow ass throw from it before, idk what you're doing wrong with counter throwing

The canon DOA story is cool and all but it was always fun seeing endings, plus at least everyone gets a story mode and not certain characters who get them and others like Christie and Lisa who don't

Eliot is just a really cute like boy (well was until he turned more manly and handsome). Which reminds me, DOA should get a cute boyish male character, maybe a male equivalent to Marie Rose? :)

out of curiosity, did my concept sketch from a few pages ago fit the bill for you, as far as androgynous woman goes? Also, Eliot is androgynous, not shota.
