Someone before said the 8T height seemed higher, it is. Only on 9PT, 8T is exactly the same. So far the titles I've gotten are-

THE TRAGIC WEAPON (all outfits unlocked)
TSUKUYOMI (PB)
MISFORTUNE (CB PB)
OUT OF MY WAY (5+ hit juggle from PL)
I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO FIGHT (cliffhanger strike)
IS FIGHTING MY SOLE REASON TO LIVE? (cliffhanger throw)
PHASE 4 (command training)
I CANNOT BACK DOWN (25% combo challenge)
HOOD (50% combo challenge)
THE FATE OF THE FALSE (75% combo challenge)

The only teleport I'm having trouble getting the timing down with is off of P+K and P6P. Can't figure out the exact moment I have to do it.

Edit- updated the list
thanks for sharing

:2::3::6::H+P: against the wall can follow up by:4::K::4::K::4::K: :P::K::K::K: damage is great, and easy

I'm surprised we don't have an official gameplay discussion thread for sharing tech and all that. I'd make one but I don't want that kind of responsibility to update the first post and everything

This character has like, no buttons (hardly). You cannot commit to strings or 3P on block hardly at all, doing so will put you in a terrible position. 3P is throw punishable, the only reliable string low she's got is PP2K (very easy to see) and there's not a lot of variation there in her strings once you reach PP6P (PPP puts you in the same awful position as 3P).

She's not going to be very offensive in the neutral, you'll have to make P, PP, PP2K, 2P, K, 6P, 33P (hi crush), 1P (hi crush), the advanced high hold, good patience work in your favor in order to get any kind of momentum going. Or even any mix up.

You'll have to work with counter hits more than anything, because you are not going to be opening any smart players up with her strings often. The 66PP block pressure works the same way as Kasumi's so people will know how to deal with that. But it is something.

Range pokes, H+K is actually very good. i17 frames but very safe due to push back, and it doesn't extend her hurtbox at all. 3K is also good and is i14 frames. Neutral K and 6P also play a role as short ranged pokes, so does 2K.

The first thing I did was see what her neutral is going to be like in matches. I will say this, Kasumi players literally have nothing to complain about. She has a lot more going for her than Phase 4 does, I am certain of that. Combos are not of my concern, as that will be handled with practice. Learning how to handle a character is always my priority.

I'm picking this character up, and the fact that she needs patience and a good neutral being a must-have, doesn't bother me (I've got both thanks to Ayane).

The biggest upside this character has is that her damage is actually very good, so it is rewarding. You'll also have to get her teleport timing down. Because if you cannot, then you cannot play Phase 4 for what she is.

To be honest, the more I think about this character and compare her to Kasumi. Kasumi is amazing (well she's always been solid anyway). I mean, I know it's only Day 1, but I don't see anything that makes her neutral very good, or explosive. She's only explosive once she hits you. And it's not like Genfu or Christie, when they hit you, you are going for a ride. She HAS to work REALLY hard to hit you, and she HAS to make you do something so she can land counter hits.

The change from -1 to +0 on her 2P was definitely needed. Because she'd be..well....awful if she didn't get that.

A character's tier rating never determines what I'll play, but I will say that I don't see her being anything higher than a mid tier character. I like the character, I'll be labbing it out, playing her, learning her match ups and finding tech.

well I think shes not that bad,at least in a mid tier, great damage(throws and holds are strong too),badass juggles, pretty fast speed..ect,of course not as good as kasumi anyway,but...speak of weak character, guys, lets take a good look at Eliot:rolleyes:

Eliot has 12i super launcher throw, reset throw and parries as well as strings that go on for days and crushes. His woe is that he has terrible initial pokes and is thus haunted by the dread of the neutral on hit 2P.

P4s woe is that she has almost nothing but damage. I'll take Eliot thanks.

Im just so noob that I don find Eliot is such a powerful guy:confused:
and...meanwhile P4 has 9f:P: 12f:6::P: and 12f:2::P: and:7::K:, since matchup sucks, her speed is cool

Well P4's frame data always looked like shit. My one hope was that she could do crazy damage to compensate those who can make her work. If anyone has some numbers to share that'd be great. Like how much can she get off CH CB?
