they could just use Bayman as a Palette Swap for Leon, that way, they could surprise people.
To be fair, I don't think Spartan / Nicole was trying to say "Let's play airplane!" with that air grab. I always saw it more like "Airplane go crashy!"

Well maybe Leon is in the game, they could have added him in the E3 build....

The Falcon didn't exactly have a safe landing either.
But it flew farther, flew faster, and it did a hell of a lot more collateral damage.
Characters haven't even been announced yet who have data on the alpha demo.... and at E3, even some of the playable ones were very very unfinished.
I don't think Leon is going to magically appear, especially when IGN and Gamespot have reported fewer characters will be available than with DOA 4. I mean yes, technically you could be right if there was a major miscommunication to the press, but even then the evidence ALL points against Leon being in the game.

Can we expect something like a 3 months delay anouncement this summer - because of the complaints about the lack of Ein, Leon, Tengu, etc., and maybe because of TTT2 release in parallel - or is it really unlikely ?

screw it...done some thinking and still getting the game day 1, im just frustrated that this is the 2nd fighter this year scrapping my main, its like im forced to learn all the popular overused characters in fear of the lesser popular/used and more interesting characters getting cut in future installments.
im still onboard and TN lucked out since there was actually one other character i used to decimate people with in DOA4 when i took a break from leon and it was that little bastard eliot. I mean beating on super powered ninjas, and their flashy magic trick BS with a prepubescent little boy wearing a tiny vest, sports bra top that exposes his abs and short shorts is as satisfying to me as manhandling them with leon. hes like the ultimate troll character and is actually fun to use. guess now he'll be upgraded from secondary to main and will be who i use exclusively since no one will replace leon as my grappler. TN better make eliot a goddamn beast of genfu-like proportions in this to make up for this atrocity

I was joking. Anyway, let's get back on topic.
I have a friend who likes the series here in my city and has always played Leon since 2005. He's very pissed at the news and though he's digging Hitomi in the Alpha Demo, he's actually saying he won't buy the game. I know he will eventually but this is the kind of reaction the news is getting.
I really hope the entire thing ends up being a mistake and we get both him and Ein. If not, I won't make a big deal out of it. We should all be thankful we're getting a new game to begin with.
