As expected, Hitomi yurei ended to become part of the DLC pack: I liked other outfits for Hitomi in the contest more than this, but as already happened many times in the past maybe the view of the completed outfit could change my opinion about.
Hold the praise/outcry on costume direction choices directing at TN until it's over. We know they are not picking solely on popularity, but it's not a stretch of thinking to assume it may become a factor in the decision making process.
I don't find anything so strange or bad behind this: the fan contests was thought for allowing to the fans to create their outfits but also for being judged from the same community that got part to it so to know even their opinion about. Exactly as the majority of the people partecipating to the first contests liked (and so presumably would like to see in game) Punk Eliot and Legging Marie Rose, in the same way the majority of people that partecipated in the second one would like to see Succubus Ayane and Yurei Hitomi.
If you don't create a DLC pack trying even to fulfill the tastes of your fans choosing from the designs that they sent you, what is the purpose of it? The importance is try to look for a way able to satisfy all the fans, not only a part. On a sidenote this is the reason because if fans want see sexy outfits I wouldn't say ever that TN has to stop to release them, indeed I always ask only to alternate them with others kind of request from other people.
Lame. Can someone post the top ten for each contest so I know where to set my expectations?

Again, remember that TN has never said that to win the contest grant you to become a DLC one, and the choice of the presumable witch outfit for Marie Rose give evidence of it. I believe that maybe only the top 2 (and very likely top 3) got a such right, for the rest everything is at the discretion of TN that only said that the winner outfits theoretically should be the "most likely ones", nothing more.
In my opinion I believe that the jury awards from TN are the outfits that have more chances than the top 10 to become part of the DLC pack.
We all know that Ayane costume winner is what shes getting. You know it and I know it.
Just waiting on Akira and Ein and... I don't even remember what Hayate had in the contest but I don't remember anything that particularly stood out.

Not bad if you ask me, could end to be very fitting in tag with Hayabusa's outfit chosen from TN for the awards (even if I continue to hope that TN will use Crow Hayabusa for the pack...). By the way I can't say if being the only choice available in the contest, this make of Hayate's design more or less likely to be picked from TN: remember that no one said that TN will use only outfits from the contest for the pack.
