What if they pulled a DOA5 Sakura stage situation and just use the bottom courtyard from Azuchi as a tag stage? They probably won't do it, but that could work out since the Azuchi courtyard is basically Sakura at night with torches added in. It would be nice to have another night time stage besides the aircraft carrier we have now.

They could do that but probably won't, too much work to insert a stage into the tag list
A good point, though the likelyhood of that happening can be slim since that bottom stage is small (Yet the D.W.A wrestling stage is also small but that's mostly because wrestling brings references to tag team matches. Still, point taken on that.)
Since you brought that up, it might be a possibility. Wouldn't get my hopes up for it though.
I'm sure TN isn't going to bother. But you never know.
Btw, speaking of Naotora, her power launcher combo seems like it'll be pretty easy to do. Looks like the guy only did one input for that move and I don't remember seeing any complicated stuff in that move list of hers.

Why shouldn't it? They kill two birds with one stone. People were asking for mor tag stages. But just adding a tag stage (which tend to be simple and boring) would be so lame for a new stage and probably even the last stage we get. >__> So they just fenced of the lowest part and there you have it, like Sakura.Because the stage has torches as the bottom which lead to guaranteed damage that can possibly kill a life bar in one go. Torches are breakables that will reset launch heights for guaranteed damage.
I can only see this happening if they remove the torches or change them into solids, but tag isn't super heavily focused on so the chances for it to be ignored is a possibility. Sakura has breakables too with one of them super nerfed (buckets) for breakable precision (Leon for example has a throw that will automatically target a near breakable if it's within his 180° range view but has a high chance of missing within that particular breakable. Which are the buckets.)
I don't see it as a tag stage for that particular reason. Personally in my opinion, they should add it even if it has breakables and no one really cares about tag anyway.

In Tag mode, you don't need a torch for that.
Sakura has benches. Different, sure, but the attitude is clearly not that destructibles automatically make tag more broken than it is normally.
Yeah the precision of breakables is heavily nerfed here. The buckets is also nerfed on solo as well, but tag doesn't really focus on breakables and Azuchi has breakables at the bottom, which are the torches. I can only see this happening if they remove the torches. (Which I doubt.).
Indeed, though everyone has access to silly stuff (Not that it wasn't silly to begin with, but the exaggeration is doubled here). If it is included Team Ninja clearly have no interest in Tag for any sorts of balance. If they had to ask people about adding tag in there I would say yes because we have something to abuse for enjoyment. I figured they would think "Ah but wait, there are too many torches here and this can convince someone to making actual death combos that actually work. But should we do that? does tag truly matter? probably not, so let's just put it in there anyway. We truly care about the importance of balance of course." I mean, I guess I believe them...or maybe not.

I think that's just K during her special stance on an airborne opponent. Seriously, they have to make her inputs harder to do, because no character can do that damage with just a K.
wow, really? lol she's more basic than I thought. She's unsafe as hell but hory shet. I feel a storm is coming.
I should hope that's the case. The alternative would be that they do care deeply about the balance of Tag mode, in which case their ineptitude has passed an irredeemable threshold of failure. Tag mode at present is an absolute joke.
