Did you notice any deep sitdown stuns in that video off of single hits? Did you notice any big damage? Anything scary at all?

Does her P+K crush still work? You have no idea how bummed out I am hearing all this, although you did main Bayman in DOA4 if I'm correct so maybe you do...

Please tell me you pulled that out of your ass. That sounds fucking awful! They removed PP2KP? Really? P+K is now useless? I bet that Busa and Gen Fu's crushes are still total bullshit. I'm going to get a drink that's actually pissed me off!

I made my name by repping low tier. So did Chosen1. It can be done.... it's just incredibly difficult.

Have a few of the members here had early access using Helena? I ask because this vid doesn't give me much of a reference on her abilities, good or bad, as the play level seems pretty low. You didn't see much out of any character. I'm not a Helena player but It seems presumptive to bash her completely based on this vid alone, if there hasn't already been hands on within the community. LeiFang looked pretty weak early on as well, but looked great during the HIN tournament imo.

Ouch, that sucks for Helena users. From the sound of it, she sounds like Gen from SF4: lots of work for very little reward.

On another note, Helena looks stunning. That Lisa costume is AMAZING! She's channeling secret agent in that costume and letting us know she is a threatening bitch--with killer fucking shoes!

I assume that is the costume she was wearing in that cutscene with the fur coat--sans the fur coat.

I have no qualms about playing low tier, I just don't understand how brain dead characters like Busa who were built upon BS get to remain strong and Helena ends up in the trash can. I'm not completely without hope for her as a character it's just a shame we wait so long for her reveal and this is what we get.

I am starting to notice something. For the most part, characters that were good in DOA4 are not necessarily no longer good but, not as dominate as they use to be. The characters that were not as good (low tier) are getting stronger, their getting that limelight special. Just a theory that I have, of course it doens't apply to like a character or 3.

I want to see how good Helena is once someone puts in this dedicated time TN is speaking on.

He is the face of another AAA game TN owns. He is going to stay the way he is, that's something we will all have to deal with as long as we play DOA.

Helena doesn't look very good. . . I mean model wise she's amazing, but it's like they nerfed her from DOA4 and forget to add any of the new DOA5 mechancis.
