I loved my original characters....

Between the guest characters and original cas characters, I never actually used any of the SC cast in IV.

Was always using kamikirimusi, Lobo, this creepy jackolantern guy i made with Amy's fighting style, scherezade, ashlotte, and a few other originals I don't reber anymore.

I should replay sciv again.



But I seriously want to make a petition to ask the devs to bring back the IV guest characters (the originals not star wars) on top of other story characters like Revenant etc as real characters.

I doubt they would have enough room for this but it would be cool to have 100 slots for individual characters and then 5 outfit slots each for all 100 characters.


Edit: I liked Ashlotte more than half the characters in SC4 so I'd love it if they brought her back!

We shouldn't have to petition honestly, the artists designed characters for the SC team and it is now Project soul's property. They should just get in contact with the artists and ask if they can either have the full rights to them or if they can use them in SC6, I'm sure they wouldn't mind. And I miss their wails of power, Scheherazade always made me smile with her "TODIYAAHHHH!" scream and Kamikurimusi with her "OWWAAAHHH!". XD

Talking about bonus characters has also got me thinking that's there is always guest characters in soul calibur games ( my favourite being Link ) so I wonder who it will be in SC6?!

Same! I got to the point were I would always rather play as my original characters than the official ones.

I agree to a point because I'm finding my self getting more and more sick of MKX since there more interested in adding 80's horror movie characters instead of Jade actual MK characters and that really annoys me so I get were your coming from.

I hope they use Tekken styles for CASs like that Devil Jin one, they were really on to something there. And aside from link, the SC guest characters were never really fitting into SC's time period. Next installment they need to just stick with original fighters and utilize the popularity character poll to great effect.

The best out come would be that all the characters from SC4 and SC5 would come back but if that can't happen then yeah a popularity poll would be the best option for who gets in. I'm sure there are characters that would just be getting in regardless like Ivy and Mitsu etc.

Yeah, those are definite fan favorites, you can't have a SC without Ivy and Mitsu. I think they'll end up trying to include everyone, but who knows until they release something.

Ivy's always been my favorite along with Amy so as long as they are both in I'll be happy although there is others I'd want. Speaking of bitchy aristocratic fighters Ivy is Soul Caliburs resident rich bitch!

But yeah until they are kind enough to offer us just a tiny bit of news all we can do is speculate!

Agreed but the 4 girls introduced in IV should be brought back/kept as sc originals. They were created by guest artists but are still characters created for Soul Calibur and fit into the works rather nicely.

Except Angol Fear who has already been incorporated in Sgt frog.

Well she was just a palette swap of Angol Mois or whatever.

But

Ashlotte is canonically the one who recovered the original Astaroth's core

Kamikirimusi winds up being Algol's mate/partner for lifespan and both losing everyone they used to know, which fits into the story well enough

Scherezade easily fits in as the one actually recording these ancient tales

And the katana girl, while having nothing to do with the story, is a fan favorite, and dual katanas has a lot of gameplay potential.


As for gameplay most of them need an overhaul and unique move sets though.

Shura was indeed a great character. I wouldn't mind if she become an staple character in SC series. But with an own unique gameplay, not Cervantes'.

Wow I'm shocked how unpopular Leixia is! Clearly people want her mother back. Its good to see that people want Cassandra and Amy back for sure!

Also thinking for Xianghua is making me think of the infamous Namco rule " no women over 40 " and if they are over 40 its only becauce they got there physical body frozen in time so I wonder if that will have any say who gets in hopefully not because its silly.
