Lol, I am always baffled at how there are people knowing the story and lore of fighting games so well when I played the exact same games and I have mostly no clue what is going on. XD It's like that for me in Soul Calibur, in Tekken and in DOA. You didn't get that information in the actual games, right? You must've looked that up online. o . O

Yeah I always look stuff up on the wikias of fighting games to make sure I understand everything that's supposed to have happened!

They honestly need to stop with these younger "successors", don't they know the original is always best?(Except for Amy, who's far better than Raphael) That's why my sister prefers Cassandra and I use sophitia, because we both disagree as to who is the better choice.

I prefer Amy to Raphael and I prefer Cassandra to Sophitia!

Maybe they will use the veterans but they will have two moveset options (original and SC6).

I didn't play a lot of SC6 so I don't remember. For instance, are Xianghua's and her daughter's movesets totally different or just variations ?

I'm guessing you meant SC5 but yeah from what little I played as Leixia her style is the same so maybe her moveset is. SC loves to change characters movesets every game anyway. Kind of sad that almost all the new characters are just clones of their predecessors instead of having a new style of fighting!

My mains ever since Soul Calibur 2 which is my favorite in the series and to me the best in the series. I also have Soul Calibur 3 which had the best character creation mode in my opinion and was a great game but it failed to surpass SC2. SCIV was pretty sweet but those Star Wars characters shouldn't have been in the game with their cheap asses! FUCK HILDE!

V is an abomination to the series and it shall not be mentioned!

I love sophitia, she's such a pure goddess! I hope they give her a better and more holy costume in SC6, her SC4 one was way to revealing, the long braid was the only saving grace of the outfit. I also miss Cassandra, my sister mained her and we would go head to head as I used Sophitia who was my main....good times. Hopefully SC6 will reboot those good times.

I liked her costume in 4 and thought it was sexy yet angelic at the same time. Ironically Cassandra's outfits seem to be less revealing :O I was PISSED when they weren't in V. I would've forgiven everything else if they were in the game damn it!

By the way, this is my favorite Sophitia outfit ever, it makes her look like she truly is a mother on a journey, and I love the braided bun they put her hair in instead of cutting it to wear loose:

I miss her so much, she's proof that a mother's love rivals any weapon.

I would've preferred the second option better I like seeing Sophitia's body like the Greek goddess she is

Is this from the old SC games because I don't remember this outfit. They are both beautiful though while I do slide slightly to the left one for the added design elements. I also loved her design in SC4 even if it was very revealing I always imagined ancient greeks didn't care about showing skin.

That one is from SC3, it's her secondary costume, and the one to the left is the one they went with. I too really like the added design elements, it makes her look alot more practical since she's traveling around. And I don't hate her sc4 outfit per say, it just doesn't seem what a holy virtuous mother would wear, but it's probably because of Tira's exploitation. I noticed that most of the characters in SC4 that Tira is exploiting happen to have their most revealing attires too, so I think it's symbolic.

I actually have SC3 as well so maybe I just didn't play as sophitia back then?! But yeah while the one on the right is good the left one looks a look more practical for a trek across Europe. And her SC4 is definitely not motherly however her second costume the blue armour one is a lot more warrior like. I wonder if Sophitia will just get a mention in SC6 since you know...
Cassandra could return though since she's just trapped in astral chaos.

I'm hoping they noncanon the destruction of soul edge so that sc4's story can go on longer and have more conclusion. All the bad stuff really occurred when that happened, and it was because of SC5's events that led them to automatically use the excuse that soul edge had been destroyed in the first place. Try need to go the MK9 route and do a within plot reboot starting from maybe SC2, and have all the SC4 combatants in, because they were all alive and well at that time. Tira would just be an assassin still, Setsuka would be in the beginning stages of her vengeance plot, and Amy would essentially be still the same person. They couldn't have done this back then though because they weren't designed by then.

I know, but she wasn't trained with the rapier around that time. The story would probably have to be modified to say she's had some experience with the rapier so she could be a combatant though.

I agree, it was just lacking in overall offline content. SC3 will always be the best in the series to me. So many options, mini games, modes....it was addictive. I only like SC4 because Amy and Sophie were in the game, and Stephanie Sheh's was goddess incarnate.♡ And the Bgm and stages for all the games were always A-1.

SC4 is my favourite currently even though SC3 arguably did story mode better and SC5 has better customization I always go back to SC4. At the sametime though I probably have played SC5 more at this point because I make far yo many original characters. That really is the main thing I'm excited for in SC6 but I do still want good stages and my favourite characters back with great new outfits. Not to mention the new characters!

Ah! That reminds me, I've been really into making pallette swaps lately, so I pallette swapped my Cas character Mio by making her blonde, giving her freckles, and giving her an angel white short Chinese dress and green eyes. I also gave her a pirate pallette too with white hair, an eyepatch, and a pirate hat, and I gotta say I'm pleased with the results. I love how you can keep the same thumbnail pose and patterns on the clothes and you can see how drastically different each swap is, it's so cool! I wish they'd un-genderlock the hairstyles at least, I want my male Cas to have longer hair than the shoulder length one they give you.
