That IS a big difference, now I'm not one for super manly men but... my gosh, Geralt got really hot from previous games to Witcher 3

And really omg again because I'd never seen the previous Witcher games and Geralt looks really rough there so I'm happy did big changes to him.

In the older games he could also pass for a very old, very ugly woman. XD Now he really does look quite attractive...in a very rough and scarred kinda way:

I wonder how that meeting went...
Developer 1: "Alright, I guess we all agree that the women have to be hotter than ever in this game!"

Developer 2 (very likely a woman or a gay man): "Uhm, how about we also make Geralt kinda...attractive? :) You know, not looking so much like one of the old crones? "

Developer 1: "That is actually an interesting idea...I never thought about that. O:"

Developer 2: "And lets have hunky statues standing around while we are at it! :3"

Developer 1: "Alright... Yeah, we might as well... :/"

Developer 2: "And let them have really big balls that we can fondle with the press of a button! X3"

Developer 1: "For God's sake, do what you want! But Cyperpunk 2077 will be exclusively full of sexualized women again, you hear me? >__<"

Wait you can actually go back and the statues fixed!, Also that's my head canon now for the development team is. But anyway thank god Geralt is attractive now! :D

Also you mentioned Cyberpunk 2077 and I wonder if they'll reveal anything at E3? I'm hoping for something on Resident Evil 7/Remake 2.

Yeah Geralt is the protagonist of the Witcher books and games, You should play them too since lots of people are considering it the greatest western RPG of all time.

I need to pick it up eventually, but with all the DLC expansions and stuff it's hard to want to get into it.

Maybe after all the expansions are out there'll be like a bundle with it all together at a slight discount or something, like how I'm waiting for the rerelease of Fallout 4 with all DLC that will eventually happen (F3 and New Vegas did so I don't see why F4 wouldn't)

Yeah I was going to wait for a bundle goty type thing for the Witcher 3 but I just decided to get it, The only dlc that's paid is Blood and wine and Heart of stone the two expansions.

I'll be most likely getting it myself soon, I'm mostly a FG player and I've been wanting to expand my genres I play for a while now. I have to say that the Witcher has really impressive visuals from what I've seen in the Witcher thread.

The one trailer and the futuristic setting didn't capture my interest at all. I would be glad if they would keep on making Witcher games till the end of time. ;)

Yeah, if @KasumiLover69 is remotely interested in Western RPGs he really should...

In it's new and unfortunately last expansion "Blood and Wine" we got the to me most aesthetically pleasing game world ever created. I've talked about it in the Witcher thread already. It is just so colorful, lush and magical. *__*

These are all PS4 images that I took, which shows what really is under the hood of the console, being able to render a huge open world environment like this in 1080p, crystal clear image quality and solid 30fps.

Really? Do you not like Futuristic settings?
Personally their my favourite type of setting especially Cyberpunk where instead of just general futuristic clothes people also where 80's fashion and though the world is incredibly advanced its also full of crime, war and poverty.

Edit: Oh and Kasumilover yeah you should get it but if you haven't played games like it before then maybe you should look stuff up about it first! :)

All things I don't like in my games. XD I play and I am able to even like games with these themes but then they have to really captivate me in some other way. Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't do that so far. (Is it supposed to be an RPG too, even open world?)
The Witcher 3 is a good example, which is probably also good to know for @KasumiLover69. It is a grim game, with lots of violence and sex. At first I didn't want to touch it. I also never was interested in The Witcher 1 and 2. The vast open world and medieval setting of The Witcher 3 really resonated with me though. Actually from the very first info on that was revealed. I only got it though after half a year of it's release and after all critics were raving about it. It did turn out to be a grim game with lots of violence and sex...but it also turned out to be very beautiful and at times also lighthearted, even romantic and most of all a very solid and polished gaming experince I can sink hundreds of hours into and forget everything else around me. I overlook all the entrails and heads flying through the air and people cussing me out in the streets. ;)

Violence and sex?? It sounds similar to Saints Row 3, I think I could really get into it! :-D Grim games with beautiful undertones also lure me in, so I could definitely see myself playing this

Yeah from what little we've heard people are saying its likely an open world however since its based on a dungeons and dragons type game there is a big chance it will have full character customization instead of a set character and the whole game is set inside of a California city called "Night City" which is surrounded by a wasteland. The lore of the whole world is VERY extensive and theres multiple books to understand it all. The original paper game ( don't know what you call them ) came out in the 80's and took place in 2020 but clearly since we are pretty much at that time now and no where near the level of advancement they pushed the time back to 2077. :)

By the way in the world people can get cybernetic inhancements whether that's for fun or for job performance its a regular thing but the human mind can't handle to much or it goes haywire, That's what I'm guessing happened to the woman from the trailer. ( this is also regular in the world ) And theres a special police type group that recruits these haywired cyborgs and that's what happens to her at the end. Lol sorry if this was to long of an explanation but I thought I might as well explain a few things! :D

Thank you for that info. :) I now do have a much better understanding of what this game is going to be. But it really doesn't sound like my cup of tea...not in the slightest. XD Especially the wasteland part puts me really off. I also wouldn't touch Fallout 4 or Mad Max (even if they are great games) because these futuristic/post apocalyptic settings really repel me. :/

You seem to be pretty exited about this game, huh? :)

Thats good then that you understand it more now. :)

Yeah lol when I was mentioning the fact that the surrounding areas have been reduced to wastelands I knew you'd be repelled, The lore is that Nomadic people hoiw wander the wastes and stay away from the cities because of the mega corporations that have a hold of them.

While the Witcher is gorgeous to me for its vast forests and plains filled with trees and greenery the world of 2077 is one gorgeous Imo because of the cityscape with flying cars, neon and tall buildings. We'll have to see if they can make the wastelands as visually appealing as the plains of the Witcher world, I don't know if its a wasteland in the same way fallouts is though so I don't know how they'll choose to show them.

How is Saints Row? XD Heard it a pretty mediocre GTA clone.
I love it! I play the third vanilla one nearly every night(I'm not interested in the superpower or Hell one) The game is over the top and the deckers gang and zombies are so fun to battle and fight. I also like how over the top the civilians scream when hit or killed, and alot of popular voice actors voice them. My favorites are the deckers specialists who are voiced by Mary Elizabeth Mcglynn, and whomever voices that female biker chick. I just love running around and slicing people with the nocturne blade XD
