I used to post on 8WR myself. Lost interest when V fizzled out.

This forum, despite many issues with certain members, is generally pretty high traffic and helpful. Most people enjoy being here and discussing a huge variety of topics. I really enjoy it despite appearances at times.

I just noticed they have yet to show anything about Patroklos despite him being the hero of SCV. Please let this be a sign.

Well, Namco themselves didn't hesitate to publicly lambaste Patroklos for being so unpopular when he was the hero for SCV. I hope they cut him out of SCVI, now fully knowing that nobody wants him around.

I liked Alpha Patroklos' gameplay. It was cool to have an iai user in the game that was male. It's a little different to have the sultry, proper female as your character than it is to have a brash, younger guy. Plus no umbrella.

So, having become so active in in this thread, do you too feel there is a SC6 announcement waiting just around the corner? The more people there are, that are starting to believe in this possibility, the more I am sure it is going to happen on Tokyo Game Show. XD

I'm one of the few people who would mourn the loss of Patroklos's gameplay, he was a blast to play. A pat was fun too, I preferred him to setsuka, wasn't a fan of the umbrella.

If they bring Cassandra back it will be forgiven though.

Or they can give Some Pat moves to Cassandra, it will help to differentiate her from Sophitia even more. 22/88 AA and 66B+K for example.

I want Sophitia's old SC2-SC3 wake up kick back where she did that pretty gymnastic overhead flip. She also has a soul repel on her Angel slide stance but they removed it for some reason. And if they could bring back her SC costume #2, I'd be so happy.

I am getting her wake-up kicks confused. WR K was her SC2 BK, right? The Axe Kick/Heel Drop that caused Forced Crouch?

Speaking of moves, would she get her Ass of Death Critical Finish? Or at least give it to her as a Critical Edge?

Assuming Sophitia, Cassandra, and Pyrrha are in, I wonder how they're going to differentiate between three shield & sword users. I know some people are going to complain about clones.

I think that was it, she does a flipping handstand flip while rising. in SC4 it was replaced with that dumb vaulting kick instead. And no that critical finish belongs to Cassandra. Sophie stabs them, jumps off of them and prays to summon the gods' power to kill her opponent before giving a somewhat remorseful look.

Ah, I was not clear. Yeah, Cass had the Ass o' Doom. Kind of surprised Sophie didn't have something similar in SC4 for her Critical Finish.

This better be leading up to an announcement, preferably at TGS. If we get to the end of this and they say "Thanks for celebrating the 20th anniversary with us, now go back to waiting for nothing", I'll be mad.

At this point I won't be moved if it is another letdown, I'm pretty numb to disappointment right now. I'm just gonna hope, but I'm keeping myself in check for the inevitable.
