I've never even been to DOAWorld, but I hear nothing good about it from everyone here, so I'll just stay away from them. This is my DOA home.
DoAW is fine. I just think the demographic skews a little younger as well as the focus being slightly different. I met BlasianPersuassion (sp?), GrimmieTime, and AyanePurpleNinja (again sp?) at SJ6 and they were all pretty cool guys, if a little quiet. Just different sides of the same coin.

Nah they are making their own fan fiction and eventually sell it and be as popular as Twilight books but for guys and the movies will follow the fan fiction and then the games will follow he fan fictions.

DOAW will make a book out of Dead or Alive fan fictions and be Popular (50 Shades of Gray mixed with Fight Club)
The book will be a best seller outselling Twilight and The Hunger Games books.
The 5 books will get 6 movie adaptations (Last book being divided in 2)
Movies are success

It's an interesting theory. If Ninja Gaiden 2 taught me anything, it's that travel times and budgets mean nothing to a badass ninja with latex leather, so potentially Shiden could do something of the sort. I haven't seen enough of DOA
to know much about how the character is set-up, but it would explain DOATEC's fascination with the Mugen Tenshin clan.
