Sanctuary was amazing I love it, The story is very confusing though but I played Kingdom Hearts 2 and enjoyed it.
I played the 3DS demo so from what I experienced the game is pretty fun, Sora was my favorite character because of his stylish clothes and key blade, I unfortunately didn't get to see Riku ingame although the demo literally started with him asleep and calling out for Riku before some other guy interrupted him. XD The music was also awesome and I loved the colorful area you had to explore and I loved the boss fight arena which I remember was a bathhouse where you had to get to the second floor to fight the boss.
Poor Aqua she really doesn't deserve half the shit she gets dealt.
The entire series is a series of trajedies and even KH2 which ends up with the three back together involves closing the chapter on Roxas who was also dealt a shit hand even worse than Aqua. You don't really notice it much until the final mix where you get to fight him as Sora and he is rightfully very pissed off.

Haven't played one KH game and I'm not planning to do so in the future. The dozens of games on many different consoles and their stupid names really put me off.
KHIII looks very pretty though...but it's probably the next FFXV isn't it? Nomura will delay it at least a couple more years.

All the games will be on PS4 by 31st of march though, 1.5 & 2.5 are coming on PS4 in March and 2.8 in January.
1.5 has KH1, Rechain of Memories and the cutscenes of the DS game and 2.5 has KH2, Birth By Sleep and the other one etc.
And also 2.8

That's what the collections are for. These three games are going to be all you need to catch up on the series.

Lol, it was a glitch in one of the preview videos and lasted just a couple of seconds.

Okay lol that's good cause that's a... unique run. Isn't it like less than 30 days now until the game comes out.

You can simply play I, II and the one on PSP. The rest you can read online, I think. KH has such a shitty plot after the first because it tries to be deeper than the heartfelt Disney + Anime style story it is.
Then it just becomes Nomura wank.
Just enjoy the scenery and the music. I also find the gameplay from II onward terrible but that's just me (it's mindless button mashing without puzzles and exploration like the first).
That said, I hope KH III comes sooner than expected and does well. It's FFVII I secretly wish to bomb. I am a heartless monster, I know, but Nomura already did enough damage to the world of FFVII. He does not really get it and wants it to be darker and broodier than what it is. The ecological message is always thrown outta the window with him and Cloud becomes a fucking unemotional depressed slate when in the original he laughed, he cried and sulked a lot, he got fucking pissed, et cetera. (I almost typoed et cetra lolololololololol)
I swear that remake
1) Better be at least unoffensive not good not bad. If it's good (I doubt it), then yay.
2) Will come out in at least 3 years.
3) We will probably see KHIII first.
4) WILL ADD COMPILATION SHIT IN IT! D:

Oh okay well close enough, We'll have it soon and I'll be playing through every little thing in it.
I haven't played it so I can't say how the original felt and how the characters acted but hopefully they get the characters right. The world is amazing looking, Midgar always interested me with it being held up by the pillar. I'm looking forward to the remake so it will be interesting to see it's development as it's made just now.
I'm also excited for Dissidia too but who knows when that's coming out in Europe and America.
