I'll make sure of it. Going to get some already interested local players from PG (my parents live there) and surrounding areas in NoVa/DC to carpool with me to house sessions/weekly xanbats for DOA5. Transportation seems to be the biggest issue in this scene around here (for Marvel at least).

But yeah, this game is going to be serious. I want DOA to end up being MD's game like CVS2 was back in the day! It'll be interesting to see how things turn out.

Anyone who knows me knows I'd drive to Massachusetts if I had to play DOA. :)

All I care about is that a date/time be arranged and people actually show up to play.

Glad to see a fair deal of fellow Bostonians and in general east coasters that are in the north here. For the most part it's usually only New York. After good times and the arcades around the area have closed the past 5 years, it's been scarce finding people in almost any fighting game circle. More surprised I have found as many as I have here. Would love to do some meet ups with you guys and play the game competitively. Haven't ever been into DOA competitively and the last one I owned was DOA2 Hardcore on PS2. Didn't have an Xbox though got to play DOA3 a lot due to friends and was the same with DOA4 (which I despised). But DOA5 I've liked what I've seen in the E3 and IPL builds so have to at least try it out. Always nice to have more options and people to play with I say.

There are a quite a bit more Marylander's here than I thought (only knew of Mr. Wah). I used to be really competitive at DoA but fell off after DoA3 and DoAU. Had DOA4 but couldn't really get into it, and eventually got rid of my 360 altogether. Haven't played a DoA game seriously in about 6 years. I think I'm gonna suck now. I really thrive off of strong competition though, even if I'm losing, so I hope I'll get to play a few of you guys

I went there for a year. I'm over in Columbia right now. Got the GVN build for anyone who wants to play with me, sadly Marylanders don't seem to want to meet up and play. Always no-shows at the arranged location :(.

Shrewsbury, MA

What? Boston/MA actually has a scene that consists of more than 3 people? Gill Hustle and I would love to meet up with you guys! The two of us, along with Final Fever have offline sessions at least once every week at Gill's gaming center. There's a thread dedicated to it here:

It's out in Dedham on the Providence Highway. We typically meet up on Saturdays. I have a car, so if you guys need a ride we can probably work something out.

Yea Gill hit me up. If it was Friday, it'd be damn good cause I'd be in Medfield which is a lot closer to Dedham than Shrewsbury but idk, I'll probably see what's up on the 15th cause I heard some TTT2 is gunna be goin on so I'll try to show up if I'm not working.
