Did anyone notice this? (Mila's face? 24 total characters?)

I re-read the character bit and this is gonna suck but it looks like I made a simple but big error. Here's what my eyes originally saw:

まぁ、同じようなスタイルのキャラクターは出ても……ということで（笑）。
Well, the character with a similar style left... and that's that (lol)

Here's what he actually said:
まぁ、同じようなスタイルのキャラクターを出しても……ということで（笑）。
Well, we've shown a character with a similar style... and that's that (lol)

So this bumps it up from a few possibilities to a couple dozen. Sorry for getting anyone's hopes up, I need some sleep.

Mila is not a clone. I can't say much, but I honestly don't follow what was stated in that article. I guess there's some minor connections, but I wouldn't go as far as to say the style is "similar to someone they took out".

I'm only saying this as to not get people's hopes up over a potential comeback of Ein/Leon or get people upset that Mila could be a clone.

Now that I see the correction... I still don't follow...

oh well,im to excited by potential Dead Fantasy updates and the fact that its only a month left till DOA5 to be even mildly disappointed right now.

Well thanks for that then. I'm kinda happy to not be stuck on hoping she takes after Ein.

First part of famitsu interview up on their site... no direct mention of Mila. Maybe the "reveal" they mentioned on the magazine cover was referring to the 4 newest characters already revealed online.

Anyway Hayashi says there's a new character besides Rig with a unique appeal that Shinbori thinks will bring in new fans. Shinbori says the fighting style is similar to a character they took out. Maybe Mila isn't a boxer or there's someone else?

Also mention you can unlock costumes online, and you shouldn't expect too many costumes since it's a new game from the ground up. If you want sexy costumes, there will be DLC because it wasn't a priority for the team to put on the disc. Japanese are mad at Hayashi as usual

There could only be three characters Mila style is similar to: Pai, Leon, or Ein. I'm thinking it's Leon which in my opinion is kind of stupid to put another Sambo fighter in unless her style is MMA and is NOTHING like Leon at all. I don't want to see any copy and paste moves from Leon because in my view that's not really a new character at all, just a move swapped on a different model. So far not liking the sound of this and if this is the case Rig should of been last to reveal.

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but it was stated by DrDogg that Mila doesn't play like anyone else. So there is no continued need to speculate whether or not she plays like any other character Dead or Alive....lol.

That's exactly what I want. Mila needs to be completely original and a new fighting style.

Well based on what was said in the interview and what's been leaked I'm assuming she's a boxer and the similar style is kickboxing

This was actually what I was thinking when I first saw the character, the bands and the stance tells me either boxing or kickboxing. Kickboxing would be so much better than boxing and it's entirely different from Muay Thai boxing, the only similarity is that both uses kicks and punches. However, special moves are different, like for instance Muay Thai is more about knees, shin kicking, and elbows, while kickboxing is about using some fancy kicks, and fancy punches like the "spinning back fist" and etc. Technically a lot of the characters are MMA's (mixed martial arts) so I'm guessing Mila uses kickboxing with some MMA.

That is Mila. She has a longer lock of hair on the right side of her face than on the left side. Inverting the image to suit his lack of a point doesn't work.

No its not. That lock is way longer than the other EVEN IF I inverted it. It looks more like either Momiji, Aoi, or someone else....
