now that I've put some time into Nier I really do suggest it to you @Tyaren. I was not impressed by the demo at all but I'm really enjoying the game and its story.

& since this is the artstyle & graphics thread here's a gif (I did edit this so it's not exactly as it appears in game)

Wait till you see the final ending, but lemme just warn you...you don't understand it now but don't choose 9s, I won't tell you the point but don't choose him. I did and when I saw what happened afterwards I got all teary eyed over what had happened right before my eyes

My favorite characters are definitely A2 since she's the hottest imo and the most relatable, 9S since he's like me personality wise and when a certain event happens the way his personality suddenly changed really spoke to me plus he has some ass and thick thighs too...aside from looks I didn't like 2B, she constantly pushed 9S away and only opened up when it was too late and all hell breaks loose.

I like Simone obviously, and I also like Eve, i thought I would prefer Adam because he had longer hair but I actually don't like him all that much, Eve I find more attractive and his character is better. Pascal I love especially when she finally drops the pacifist act when she needs to protect something she cares about. Emil I loved, his voice and attitude made me smile although I wish he was an android like 9s. Operator 60 I like since the VA of leifang voices her and she's a lipstick lesbian, and I like the friendly robot you find in the forest kingdom who attacks you when you try to kill his animals. Finally I like the red girls whom you'll fight later on, when A2 has to face them and she realizes it's futile, the red girls do something which I found fascinating since it's pretty much how our generation is. And then lastly I like jackass

The thing is, since the gameplay wasn't my cup of tea, but I still was interested in the game, I've already long watched a complete walkthrough of it and ruined the story for myself, including all endings. Now I really don't have a reason to play it anymore. XD

Coming back to God of War. It's imo a crazy effort, that they are actually painting that huge wall by hand:

If you look closely, you can already see the guide lines. Coupled with the live orchestra last year accompanying the gameplay presentation of the game, Sony is really not sparing any expense.

Can't E3 please come sooner? >__<

As I said before, If you only get excited when a game is very Japanese in style and with hot characters to shamelessly ogle, a game show, that is primarily targeting a Western audience, even if it the biggest and most important of its kind in the world, will likely not satisfy you.
If I was forced to go to bible camp and be a devout Christian all my life, I would probably too be obsessed with everythig Japanese and sleazy in contrast. If your mom knew what she actually created, lol.

And i can't help it, if someone in a game is hot I ogle and would buy it just for them, like peep ed in SFV:

And I can like western games but they have to appeal to me, like saints row 3 was awesome, loved the setting, story, voices and I enjoyed murdering and killing and hearing the screams most of alll...well except I enjoyed the zombies too, I liked to walk into the zombie area and I found it really hot when they would grab my character and eat their face...There's a button prompt to escape but I was too busy to even try to escape if you know what I mean

Which reminds me, i hope we get another soul Calibur, the graphics always appealed to me, plus it's my third favorite fighting game and of course I want dragon quest! And Nier hopefully should get more DLC so I can take more pics

Allow me to be more specific: don't be a myopic cretin who points at different shapes saying "I like that" while thumbing through finger-paintings at a Kindergarten. If you do not even attempt to explain why certain art styles/decisions do or don't work, you're not saying anything worth hearing. The occasional joke or aside is perfectly fine, but in this case, the useless blather is another installment in a never-ending sea of Kasumi-Lover's redundant attempts to appear relevant by graciously "sharing" his sexual preferences where they are not complimentary whatsoever. He posts as if public threads are his personal blog space, complete with an unnecessary amount of large image embeds, and it needs to stop.

Take this post, for example. He doesn't discuss anything about the "art style" or "graphics." He's just shitposting what he claims to find "sexy" with large, obnoxious image embeds.
In this post he has some obligatory "lewd" screenshots followed by some rambling about music, and conveniently forgets to address how it does or doesn't compliment the visuals of the game.
This post is the same old story once again, and all of these were posted within one weekend.

It's an incredibly lazy attempt to disguise thread derailment, so I'm putting a stop to it.

Wait what? They're really painting the entire wall by hand?! ( Genuinely Michael Angelo would be proud ) My arms would be ready to drop off after just Kratos' face nevermind that your suspended in that thing 50 ft off the ground etc. So big props to them for doing that!

And Sony really must be out for blood this year with how they're selling it. I'm guessing Sony considers God of War they're "head liner" this year? Either that or Last of Us but I don't know if it's getting this promotion.

( Also the kid next to Kratos in the painting looks like a younger, male Aloy.

And I'm a little interested in Nier too, Although I haven't watched any walkthroughs of it so I can understand why you'd be put off if you'd already saw the entire story. XD

I'm not derailing anything, I'm just saying that if graphics look hot then obviously they're good in my eyes. I think seriously more games should do a better job making their characters and scenery look as attractive as possible, I've always felt at ease playing gorgeous games which is why to this day soul Calibur 2 and soul Calibur 3 and 4 are my favorite games in that regard, gorgeous, near perfect graphics for their time and full on fun to play

SFV has characters I find attractive but the general clay art style and it being 2D kinda was a turn off, although I've been on the rocks about it ever since release, I may get it just so I can take screenshots and not really play it too

And my image embeds ate just screens I take from the games, I'll put some in spoilers if that's really an issue but I just do because Tyaren does for his games so can't I do the same?

But anyways I think I'm done with this thread for a while, I'll come back when I don't feel threatened and hopefully if I get better screens for tekken 7, I'm making a video project if I can get everything i need

Really? I always upload my images to imgur first and then post them here so that they aren't so much on the site.

Anyway I think most games now a days are gorgeous anyway but even speaking about that Horizon is a gorgeous game ( in fact one of the best looking games, The ants are even the most beautiful. )

Also I think the main thing that Brutes saying is that there's a difference between talking about a games graphics/artstyle and how beautiful they are ( or games in general in certain terms ) versus a wall of text about how attractive a single character is... that's more suited for a thread like the "hot doa characters" one.

Well considering the story is the main reason to play it and why you suffer through the occasional annoying gameplay segments, nevermind lol

The sex sells aspect of it was what was keeping me away from it bc I really couldn't care less about an android's panties & ass and from the way people talked about the demo that seemed to be all there was to the game. But after talking to @Aerospark about it he convinced me since we have similar taste in games and he loved it

Since it's already so scorching hot here, I paid frosty Scotland a little visit (In Uncharted 4).

Each region in the game is perfectly on point what atmosphere is concerned. The environment artists of Naughty Dog are imo second to none in the business. Especially if we are talking about non-fantasy and non-sci-fi but realistical settings.
Soon (this August) we will fortunately get to enjoy a little bit more of their great work when Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy will lead us to beautiful India, its deep jungles and lost temples. Here's some of the concept art of the game:

It has already been confirmed that the areas of this stand alone game will be of a bigger and more open scale than most of the areas of the main game. The "wide linear" Madagascar and island exploration sections were my absolute favorite areas in Ucharted 4, so I am more than happy about that. I love more open exploration.

Last but not least, here's the most recent teaser trailer that gives us a nice taste of what to look forward to:

Looks just as beautiful and polished as the main game and I'm excited to play with Nadine, who was a great adversary in the main game.

It's good to know her name anyway, "Nadine" that's a nice name. She looks cool from what I've seen and If it's a more open type of exploration that makes me more interested in it. Lol I now have you suggesting Uncharted 4 and chapstick suggesting Nier! XD I need to find these cheap somewhere I swear!

The concept art looks gorgeous, I love Indian and middle eastern architecture so in terms of that I'm already excited!

And I know that Uncharted 4 has a photography mode so I'm sure this one will have one too which I'd go crazy taking photos in.

I wasn't being passive aggressive, I honestly didn't care when he threatened me. If it'll make him happy I'll just post pics from here on out and keep them modest or If I do post a more uh...revealing pic I'll just leave it that and won't go into what I think about it truly, I know he's not much a fan of tekken graphics or any of the visuals for games I have posted in here so I know that probably already struck a nerve with him

I'm trying to unlock all exclusive character outfits atm so I can do a video project on them once I get what I need, the exclusive outfits have alot better quality imo than the generic outfits, especially those horrid t shirts wasting slots.... and I'm hoping some outfits are hidden like I saw nina in treasure battle mode wearing her story mode suit but it's not in the menus. And some hairstyles like shaved hair weren't available either but they pop up if you unlock them
