Hmm Sonico's headphones might not actually pass over to the other girls when they wear the hair, right? I mean in EV didn't the girls have specific things they only had when they wore their hairstyle? Although I feel like you were able to unlock them??? I don't know.
And oh yeah I just looked up a picture of her in game and yeah her eye brows are visible over her fringe.
I don't really feel either way about it but I guess it's a cool thing they added to her.
Only base game girls, the DLC girl hairstyles retain the accessories, like Kanu still has her hair tie although color changes depending on character and Ayame hair still retains her bow. I think her headphones are head accessory actually since it would be dumb to make it forced to have headphones >.> Ayane also has her bandanna but that's an accesory like the headphones should be. Serious straight edge people can have longer more untamed hair. Ikaruga for example has a fringe that's longer and unruly than the other ones and Kanu is serious but her hair is unkempt and wild as fuck XD
Also in real life I'm a serious minded cold person to people I don't know or don't like but my hair is big and curly and wild...

How are you gonna compare one of the only actual hime cuts in the game to this
because it has a tiny piece of extra hair that you can't even see unless the camera's two inches from her face? Also Idk if I'm reading too far into it but I think that piece is there to show she's down to earth despite the poise and rich family. As for Kanu she strikes me as a Daidouji type of character that doesn't care that much about her appearance.
You guys must not understand that hime cuts have multiple variations and styles, but I won't go into that XD plus the hair is noticeable imo, when I used her hair on ryona I instantly noticed it and it irks me tbh. I view that hair as symbolism that although she's well poised and strives for perfection and being calm, she's not as perfect and proper as what meets the eye and that even she has imperfections in her character and backstory. Plus they need that as a watermark so that if she's placed to a group of similar looking manga anime girls you'll be able to know that's definitely Ikaruga and not some knock off of her trope of character. All the SK girls in fact have a sort of unique quality of their design so that when you see a manga/anime/hentai of a character who looks like them you'll know it's not them. Like I saw a Yumi type drawing in a manga art and she looked like her but she lacked the clear blue ice eyes which shows that was just a knock off of the trope Yumi falls in.How are you gonna compare one of the only actual hime cuts in the game to this

And I view as Kanu mostly as just stoic and serious, she also doesn't seem to care much about her unkempt hair which I respect since it adds to her wild design

Ultimate Yumi looks fierce to be honest. Like It actually makes me like her more. Doesn't mean it should be her default since she's usually got a very put together look and I guess this would be more when she's going crazy with power... Looks good though. 10/10.
Oh and what is this about hime cuts? I remember a discussion like this in the past about how "this girl and that girl have a hime cut" when... They don't lol. Long hair and a fringe does not a hime cut make. And If it's that ultimate yumi and Ikaruga's hair is just as messy as each others then no. One hair out of place doesn't compare to hair flying all over the place.
How do you "knock off" a trope?
Yeah I just decided to drop the hime thing XD I'm an enthusiast of the look and know of every variation but I understand there's people who think the main variation is the only variation and I won't take that away from them, although I've stated long hair, fringe AND SIDELOCKS are what a hime cut make XD but it's whatever XD when I make my own videogame with my sister, I'll show you guys all the variants since most of the girls I design have a variation of it
And tbh, hair doesn't really fly everywhere in SO which I like, it's all one whole bar the sidelocks and fringe which move at their own pace. Also it kills me how trashy and generic the unlockable hair is in comparison to official character hair like wtf? >.>

Well okay but I decided to look it up and the most I could find for Hime Cut variation is that it can not have the fringe or not have the sidelocks but always has the same general shape of being straight but oh well. And unlockable hair? Do you mean like the ponytail etc unlockable hairs from EV? They definitely could be better in terms of there being more or something. Some are good I'd say but it also depends on the character I guess.Yeah the only one I liked is the pixie cut and the emo cut, the rest are cheap knockoffs like why have the generic twintails when you got lu bu? And why use the shitty ponytail when you have Homura and asuka?? XDLol.
Apparently "knock-off" is the word of the day. But I can imagine a lot of people use the twintails since you only have access to Ryofu's hair if you buy the DLC.

Yeah I probably use the "emo cut" the most out of them all and it tends to look good in all colours on anyone. I used the pony tail at first but I'm not a big fan of it. I'm trying to remember the twin tail one?... I can't remember it so I guess that says that I wasn't a fan of it either. DC had good general hair at least.
And yeah I've seen some of the PBS outfits and they're really good. There's this one that looks almost exactly like Tifa Lockhart's outfit from FF7. And another I saw was some military one with a tanktop and actual trousers and combat boots which was really good. I've been trying to avoid seeing to much though until I have the game for myself.

I couldn't find the Hebijo girls cause apparently the world hates them or something. I actually really like them all but my favourite would be Crimson's.
And out of the new girls in new link my favourite so far is the gothic girl.
