So I was curious to know how other Rig players fair against specific characters and/or any strategies that work well for Rig against certain characters (online and/or offline). I'll start:
Against online Kasumi players, they will almost always try and get that first P hit in, usually when they either don't move before the match or if they get closer before the match. I always start those matches with high counters, and it never fails. For the rest of the match, I try to play in a fairly balanced manner since Kasumi is faster of course. Going from defensive to offensive, once their is a break in her attacks, I immediately do 8k followed by either PP4KKK, PP2KK, or PPP2k (I want to see if KK4KKK is possible one of these days). If I'm on the offensive, I get into bending stance from either 4KK, 3K2KK/3KK and keep up the pressure between highs, lows, and mids. When I'm ready to end it, it's usually with KK6K into a CB. If I'm trying to keep a distance hit in, I go outside of her jab into bending stance with 4P+K, and do 2H+K just to start some mind games (works well on most characters as well), or I just do 6KK4 followed by either P, KKK, or 6H+K. I guess in summary I just try not to out speed Kasumi or give her too many openings (or counters by being predictable).
So, how about the rest of you?
