I love how you think the only thing that makes him Leon are his physically impossible moves. Also Im not proposing you remove them all, only about half of them and replace them with silat moves that would still be unique to Leon because none of the other characters would have them anyway. I think thats reasonable.
ok lets figure this out pick the moves you want or don't want keep in mind anything Bayman currently has if off limits were trying to cut the ties between them remember besides its not that hard to find an alternate animation

See, that's what's called "A new character". Not Leon. It's like saying you can have Ryu or Ken without shoryuken, hadoken, and the spinkick.
That's exactly what happened with Mila. They kept one of Leon's signature moves (Arguably 2), then modified the rest of the moveset into a different style. But rather than just keeping it Leon, they made it a new character. And that works. I LOVE Mila.
But I want Leon. THE Leon. In all of his signature move glory.

He could have many new throws like this one, or this one (and then, when the ennemy is on the floor, he would have the possibility to use him as a baseball bat haha).
I can see him doing this too haha. That would be... great. Then he would just have like 2 seconds to decide where to throw the ennemy (wall, danger zone, cliff, ground..). Useless, but pretty funny. Could be his unique stance.
I can see him having many many many guard breaks. Devastating.

Going to ignore the effectively meaningless fanboy comment ^ whether he is included or not isn't just based on your personal will.
In terms of the second one Kwon, that's an adaptation of Judo, so if he stays as sambo you could just take something literally impossible to perform out and just throw that in, as Sambo involves some Judo anyway. The 1st one also is a display of raw power that would be legal in both Silat and Sambo, even if it isn't a specific technique. It also really works with Leons persona so thats actually a fantastic idea. Not so sure about the third though. lol
Well if we assume Kwons Silat idea actually sticks, I'd consider going with a polick haimau followed by a jab 1 2 and a power hook sending the person flying like at the end of any power blow. Just an idea. If not you could go for a headbutt/boxing combo and perhaps finish with a big boot to the chest or something.
Ps Kronin, I'd make it a Silat hook rather than a boxing hook. A boxing hook is thumbs up, a Silat hook is thumbs neutral.
PPs!!! Just thought why not after the polick haimau (when the opponent is likely hunched over in pain) do a boxing uppercut sending them airborne followed by a throw where he grabs the lower body and spins them 360 and releases. That way its still kinda like the old physically impossible Leon Silver Khaos loves so much but still not completely ridiculous. =P

See thats how he should be. Big, slow, power moves that guard break and are offensive holds. Like Alex from 3rd Strike.
I always pictured him going into a punch frenzy , lifting the opponent by the neck with 1 hand and slapping them across the screen with his 6P+K..

Since I'm a Miguel fanatic and laughed at Leon having that Donkey Kong move, I approve of this.
On another note, you just claimed post #666 :V
id say give Leon his Deverish throw and just let Bayman keep the Reverse destroyer,they're essentially the same thing and it would allow Leon to keep one of his more signature moves without taking away from Bayman's abilities.

Leon uses a "brutal" Sambo .
Bayman uses a more technical Sambo .
I like Sambo, and understand the differences between these two.And really hope they bring him back .
As for Silat, well as a martial art it's cool, but leon's apearence doesn't fit, they should bring an asian but smaller than jan lee .

but seriously, leon's character is fit for Sambo.
I watched the movie RAID redemption and the hero is really fit for Silat.
