That's very nice Brute. I do a bit of drawing myself, but I'm not very good ha, mainly fanart too, not very original myself. I do have a few characters, Backlash being one of em, he's a floating face that is kinda like Q from star trek. Also my namesake is from another char I made up.

You have some fantastic work here, especially the comic. I couldn't think of anything cooler than helping the homeless by singing Another One Bites the Dust, so Grenom is officially on my Awesome List. Consider that comic Yoshikage Kira-approved *coughjojoreferencecough*. I also envy your ability with flash. The most I could do was a standing idle animation with a head-turn and it took weeks because shape tweens are pure evil DX

Thanks! And yeah, tweens can be very messy. I prefer frame-by-frame, but obviously that's not exactly time-efficient. xD

As far as stories go, I'm not really that good. I only have 8 OCs, two villains I've only drawn once, a basic premise, and hardly any plot at all. Laughable enough it took me 7 years so far and I have little progress whatsoever. Hopefully I can pick up the pace on my story soon, because I'm dying to make a webcomic out of my characters one day T-T

I realize I can't speak for everyone, but storytelling is the single most rewarding thing I've ever experienced. It can be overwhelming, but when you get your stuff together and produce something, it's worth all the effort.

Well, if I can share my stuff here, I'm sure you're art will be welcomed as well.
I haven't really seen New Generation, but from what I've heard, Q is a very philosophical-abstract character, which is my favorite kind!
Again, if you have any stories or character sketches (in either the visual or descriptive sense), I'd love to hear 'em!

I am surrounded by artists & i am loving it. Really admire the work in this thread, you guys breath talent, it's just a shame some of you don't realize it or give yourself enough credit to yourselves for it. If i could draw like this I'd be drawing on anything just to show off my skills. I seriously take my hat off to you all & feel like throwing my pens at you just so you can all draw something!

@Brute, i don't know why but i find your character Grenom Tacoma strangely attractive & extremely fascinating! Maybe it's because i love the whole mysterious, witty, whimsical evil look that makes you use your imagination. To me she has a school girl innocence to her but a dark twisted secret within as well (evident with the whole blood smeared fingers & blood caked face). She actually reminds me of a character I've seen from a Korean foreign film but for the life of me I cannot remember the name of it. In fact I've been meaning to ask who the character was in your av as i have always liked her.

@SilverForte, I was just browsing your work like a curious chin-stroking librarian & like what i see. I think keeping your old uploads in there is a good idea as it gives yourself a platform to improve yourself on & gives you an idea on how far you have come with your work as well as something to look back on for memories sake. Oh & Squidward is the sexiest beast on devianArt. If Squidward & Grenom were a real life couple, I'd want their babies.

A lot of people tell me that, despite the fact she's usually anywhere between 10-13 in most of the pictures I draw. =\
But yeah, all those adjectives are meant to be portrayed by her in an oxy-moronic way. It keeps her fresh, and avoids having her placed categorically or judged prematurely, at least in my opinion. That's one of the mains reasons I like the character so much. =)
If you ever find the film or character, let me know!

Am I imagining things or does Ryu look like 80% eurasian? Not asian at all? I feel sad for the Asian fad of cosmetic surgeries and clothing choices to imitate the western look - rich westerners have a social prestige that draws the fastly developing asians, they don't want to embrace their own, personal beauty and style. An example of this nasty trend are the eyelid operations they do to remove the double eyelids.

Lisa makes a comment about how un-asian he looks in Dimensions.
Keep in mind he's technically of the dragon lineage, so he's not necessarily of asian blood (though in the first two Ninja Gaiden games, his eyes looked fairly asian, though I always though he looked very Caucasian in DOA).

@Kronin: Is that the actual model they use in DOA5? I figured they were too lazy to model/animate his actual face, which is why they always give him the mask in DLC.

A guy on Deviantart rigged with bones the model of Ryu from the new DLC.

In the process he also put off a version without mask for him.

I wasn't able to know this with certainty, but I think that the DLC could include also his face behind the mask and so that the face of the Deviantart's model could be from Doa5 and not NG3. This could be an important hint in regard of a future DLC outfit of Ryu with his face finally exposed.

PS: About me, I just combined this model with the one of his C1 from Doa5.
