I also would love to see Kasumi Alpha return. I've always hated the directions they've taken with Kasumi's playstyle. I was best with her in DOA2, and every game afterwards I get progressively worse. Kasumi Alpha was literally just DOA2 Kasumi with a launcher throw and very creepy personality. I would also love for her 9H to stay as a mid/high parry and 3H to be a low parry. If she comes back and Ein comes back as M.I.S.T.'s problem child, they need to have a tag throw together <3

Considered that I would love to see in Doa5 all the cast from Doa Dimensions, is an hard topic to answer.

Havingo to make just a choice, I would give the priority to the big three missing ones (Leon, Ein, Bankotsubo), considering that contrarily to the other ones, these three have been playable in the series for more than just one episode (so they should have an major number of fans or people that play them). About new characters, I think that a completely new game is a better place/situation to introduce them in the series.

Personally Ein is my favourite between the three and also my second main and character more used after Ayane: anyway a variation of his moveset, as well as the same character, are already present in Doa5, respectively in Hitomi and Hayate; so sadly I would put him last in this "podium".

For plot reasons, and considering that his fighting style is present in the game but much more alterated, Leon would be a better choice compared to Ein; and similarly to the karateka, he was a sort of third main for me (if I had to choose a random character, Leon was surely the first in my list). But again "hints" of Leon moveset/playstyle are anyway included in the game, scattered between Bayman, Mila and Rig (a reasoning that could be done, in different measures, also for all the additional characters in Doa Dimensions, with the only exception of Genra that anyway had part of Spartan-458/Nicole's moveset). Anyway would be nice if TN could add to Leon also some moves taken just from the Halo's guest, considering the similarity in the physical and brute style.

So the character that more deserve to be in the game is IMO Tengu/Bankotsu-bo, considering the fighting aspect of the game and how he is the only absent one to have a style completely different from every other character. I don't hide that I used him really few in the past, but just for its extreme difficulty in the use, not because I disliked it or his fighting style (actually just the contrary). I know that in Doa4 he was the worst character, but considering the (IMO) good job done on Doa5 to balance the roster, I am really sure that an eventual incarnation of him would be able to be competitive and at the same level of the others.

It wouldn't be hard to make Tengu good. His biggest issues to me in DOA4 were his speed (a 15 frame jab? Really, TN?), his lack of natural combos, and his lack of mixups. Just allow him to transition more of his moves into other moves like Nightpup mentioned in the Tengu thread, and cut down on his startup frames. His jab shouldn't be any slower than 11 frames. There's no reason for it.

Another option for mixups, would be to give him more options out of 9P like I had suggested in the Tengu thread.

Pleasantly surprised at the Tengu love.... It is a shame they removed a completely unique fighting style, I think it's only because he was the least popular character in DOA4. But what do you expect when a character is so hard to unlock? I hope if there's a DOA5U everyone's immediately available so they'll be properly represented

Not only did he take forever to unlock, but he was complete and utter garbage to boot. How could you blame anyone for not playing him when you have to put so much time into unlocking him, only to find out that he isn't even viable? Once the news of his uselessness begins to spread, some people won't even bother to try to unlock him.

Alpha was the only reason i didn't unlock him, fighting that bitch was a nightmare.

I eventually came to find her to be rather easy, personally. Especially when using a character with a fast, high knockback move with decent reach, such as SPARTAN's running P. Just spam that shit all day and Alpha's done in no time.

She didn't even make it into Razor's edge.

too slow for RE,she needs a lot more tweaking than the others to be viable in that play style plus their are barley any fiends in the game so she doesnt have reason to be there being a fiend hunter and all..though that hopefully shouldn't stop her from showing up in DOA5U.
