I think the shitty specs should be the last thing on anyone's mind, the thing's going to be about as successful as Win8 or Windows phones. Whoever's running things needs to be fired 
And honestly I think the 360 would've been just as big a failure as X1 will be if Sony hadn't fucked up so royally with the PS3. They're like 50/50 now even though PS3 started a year late and cost $500 vs $300

Technically, most majors actually do run XBox360 for most games. The exceptions are EVO, SEA Major and a few others, but it's mostly 360 for now.
After the Xbox "One" reveal, it's obvious the only market that Microsoft cares about are the TV-watchers, Sports fans and CoD drones. They surely don't give a shit about gamers.
I'm putting it very lightly when I say that the Xbox 1 reveal was fucking godawfully pitiful. There is literally no reason to choose this console over a PS4. You know you failed HARD when the fucking Wii U looks miles more appealing.
Oh wow... It will be interesting to see what the disparity between multi-platform games is like, especially ram dependent titles such as gta (6?).
No it doesn't. The Wii U will receive terrible looking ports. That system is just a showcase for Nintendo first party games and I believe Nintendo knows it and doesn't care.
If Microsoft can manage to keep it's console's title as platform development lead then Microsoft should be fine.

Those are gamers too. Not hardcore gamers, that's all. MS goes for the biggest market: the casual market.
I won't buy a new console until a couple of years have passed anyway, but I wouldn't count the Xbox One out.
