    So I hear apparently, that if you get the True Dragon Sword in Nioh and get it bugged attach with the corruption element with the filled gauge, it plays voice clips via Ninja Gaiden from the OG Xbox.

    Feels good to know that the next Nioh is already confirmed, it'll be a long while from now according to them since they haven't made a concept for it yet, but at least it's a given. Probably won't see it for another 2-3 years roughly, PS5 would be obvious, possibly Xbox, and hopefully PC.

    @Seigen Don't worry about DOA, since its still Koei Tecmo game from Japan/Asia to US/Europe. Nioh is the only KT brand that is getting published by third party world wide, while KT handles JP releases & Steam releases (according to Steam page for Nioh 1).

    The publisher is irrelevant. If TN will be busy with developing a new Nioh you can bet your next paycheck DOA goes the VF way. No way they'll have the resources to develop a new Nioh and a new (hopefully good) DOA simultaneously.

    Oh, but even then I have a feeling that DOA won't be TN/KT their main focus, and at best would mostly be the franchise that will be given less budget/resources (like DOAX3), reuse assets from their previous games, & focus on DLC.

    shit, some of us are still doing not so great in the pandemic anyway. I can't get a new $60-$70 game right now. Paying my net was an issue at one point. Makes me wonder how many people need a stimulus with all the PS5 preorders lol

    Eh, I trust CD Projekt Red that they'll do this game justice, but wow this game has pretty much been delayed all year haha. There was the mention a while back about a 6-day per week crunch too (which feels ironic that people made a shit about that now). Oh well, CDPR will release CP2077 when it's ready (preferably before 2077 haha).

    Would be nice if there were more developers like Kamiya (DMC1 & Bayonetta). Just walk onto Capcom's office like a damn true boss despite not working there anymore and ask about possible outcomes with games including Viewtiful Joe.

    It all comes down to business, I know. Regardless, props to Kamiya.

    legit I never once looked at that steve's win screen and thought, hmmmm that steak sure does look like a penis, even after websites were pointing it out I didn't see that as the case, but I guess Nintendo thought it was suggestive enough to change :/

    Hideki Kamiya still interested in a DMC crossover, mentioned if he had the ok from Capcom, he'd make two separate scenario stories between the two and intertwine.

    That would be interesting, given the reaction of many fans to DmC, then again, who knows, nowadays I see them saying that DmC wasn't a bad game, gameplaywise it still had that DMC feeling to it, while others are saying that it wasn't a bad game, just a bad DMC game, so, who knows, they might be on board with a crossover.

    I'd be especially interested in the meeting of the two Vergils, the one who seems to have accepted his humanity in DMC5 and the one who wanted to rule over every human on the planet and dislikes pretty much everyone in DmC.

    He most likely thought, "Hey, if I back out on this tournament, like Idom did, I'll be a martyr for the FGs need better netcode/rollback narrative." Despite the pandemic already highlighting the issue. One time I agreed to a set online and the lag was horrid. We still played, no personal feeling towards one anothers' skill because we knew it wasn't offline. Real niggas don't give a shit lol
