    Played some DOA5U and I have improved A LOT from my first time playing. Hayabusa's still my main and I'm subbing Alpha, Leon and Hayate. :)

    Never said that, but she is pretty cool IMO. I use her because she fits my gameplay style (not button-mashing): being fast while having great throws and not having to hold too much.

    I really appreciate this Nameless :). I'm sorry that your medical studies aren't working and hope that you are able to push through/cope with it. My sister has been having trouble with her major herself and has just switched to a new one so I can kind of see what you were going through. No apology was needed for your behavior. I could tell that you might have been going through some sort of struugle. Good luck!

    Hopefully more experience with this game will get me somewhere, but I'm having the same problems I had in vanilla :/

    yomi's more important than execution in DOA. Is momiji's third one that one where she turns you BT and then tries to follow it up? cause that ones a bitch.

    I'll try to work on my yomi then. Maybe I should briefly explore the other characters, so I can now what they're doing.

    And her third combo challenge is just 44P8, 41236T. My controller just did not want to do any double inputs like 66, 44, 88 or 33 that day. The times I did get it, I kept on doing Momiji's neutral T so I just quit.

    There's barely anyone online and it lags every match, but still kinda fun. I mostly play True Fighter 3 rounds against CPU. It is more addicting than it sounds. XD

    I'm still not sold on DOA3's stages and music being universally better than DOA2's. Also, I love Rig and Lisa, so their absence in those games hits hard. The recovery on holds is also best in 5U, and certain movelists are much more fleshed out and freeing in later games (at the cost of some balance).

    In the end, there is no "best" DOA game. At least not to me. All have pros and cons.

    Also true. DOA2 and 3 definitely tie for the best stages as well as best music before DOA5U. New additions that came in 4, 5, 5U, and 2U were welcome, but DOA3's system worked very well and almost flawlessly at its time (and now).

    Oh yes, the only thing I would ask for DOA3 is a versus mode against CPU and more costumes, other than that, and just like you say, the balance was great, and the game was totally fun to play.

    I've officially taken up Bass as a submain today. Funny how 4 out of my five current mains are grapplers or psuedo-grapplers.

    Leon will definitely be one of my most used characters in 5U! I want to do a Team Battle with Ryu, Leon, Momiji, Bass, Hayate, Bayman, and Alpha.
