  • I was able to find a camera flip setup. Maybe it's worth looking into before the tournament? :) I'm not entirely sure what triggers it though, it only works in certain cases. (8P)44P8PP, 6H+K or 3KP8PP, 6H+K. You can do a 214P+K after the bounce for extra style points, but don't forget to mirror your input. :)

    Okay, here's a nasty version: 8K, 9PPP, 6H+K, P+K. Not the most damaging CB in the game, but the camera flip will screw up all the mid punch holds and make them mid kicks. :)

    I just realized that you can only get the camera flip if you are in closed stance.

    Thanks soo much. It really means a lot to me. The emphasis was on 'timing' and not 'combos' but I tried to come up with things I haven't heard or seen yet from others. Also I like that you are interested in Jacky. He's one of the least popular characters in the game.

    I still don't understand why some people hate the VF characters for being in DOA. They are in the game. Deal with it.

    Actually I think their movements are pretty well adapted to DOA's mechanics. There are only a few moves with are really 'Vf-ish' (e.g. Jacky's 4H+K, Sarah's Flamingo P2KKK) plus the sound effects. I don't understand why you're making such a big deal of it.

    I don't mind guest characters if they fit and imho, the VF characters don't fit in with the DOA world. If they don't come back in DOA6, I'd be okay with that.

    The VF characters fit in DOA better than most guest characters in other games.

    On PSN, I've played for about 985 hours, 746 online, with 8843 fights.

    Then you can add back from my time on xbl about 200 hours and 3000 fights, though I don't know the exact figures anymore.
    Interested in re-learning Mila since I dropped her after the nerfs she got in DOA5. Could anyone give me some key moves?

    Thanks, I am finding these moves really useful. What about her launchers: 9K, 6H+K, 8K, 33P? Which one is the best or is that situational?

    8K is her highest priority and highest damaging launcher so it would be best to use that one more often. Although all of the launchers you mention don't wallsplat so you could use them near a wall. But 33P is the best of those imo.

    33P? Why would you use that near a wall? This move is a crush, nothing you would prefer to use as launcher.
    Phase 4 is a very rewarding character, but it is frustrating that I constantly have to adapt my teleport timing to the degree of lag online.

    I love offline, but my sister and/or real-life friends don't always have time to play DOA offline with me. I play online regularly with friends I met on Xbox because the CPU gets boring sometimes. :p

    Alright, I'm picking up Hayate. Anyone have tips on the timing of Raijin and/or his best wall splat combos?

    There is something called mirror notations or something like that and there is a whole article about it on Critical Stun, probably here too but I haven't looked it up. Basically, even though the Raijin's commands are 6482T.9173T, you can input 7391T.9173T and still get it. That makes the inputs way easier and you are left with only the timing to practice.

    Found some fresh new Marie Rose tech I've never seen before, but after some testing in training I realized it's not guaranteed at all. T_T
