  • I can't lie. I miss holdable SD stuns. Doesn't mean I don't want unholdable ones but the deep stun was helpful at times.

    I hate the taste of beer as well, and my worst hangover ruined the taste of vodka for me (as well as most strong drinks), but there are a few mixes that I really like and have no problem drinking

    Hayate's 4P needs to be +27 on block and unholdable. It also needs to launch for the power launcher height... on whiff. #DOA5UBalance

    I think Hayate needs a 350 damage offensive hold. 5 frames like a neutral throw. Unbreakable. This is what Haya-- I mean DOA needs 4 balance

    Yo Takeda. How do you do Hayate's wind dash? How many ways can you do it? I've accdiently done it a few times but I haven't had the time to actually learn but I kind of want to know the inputs beforehand. I remember even doing one with >p+k
    Underestimated Hayate in this game. His build is still kind of incomplete in the stance area but he's doing pretty well for right now.

    He's solid in a lot of areas he wasn't but while he's more playable now than before he's still lacking. His wind dash is my biggest qualm, things need to be reworked but... yea I'd say he's working pretty well.

    Thats good to know. Figured out any sick PL combos w/ him? Because i know he's a monster when it comes to juggles.

    He's actually not a monster when it comes to juggles lol. He was only able to get JL damage because of how hard he hit in the last game. His Wind dash kick was nerfed on damage and his 33K was nerfed on damage.

    HIs new 44KK has some what of a value in his PL combos. Check out the topics.
    Pick up Ayane now... or wait til the costume requirements get lowered in core fighters to get the costume I want/need.

    Came to the conclusion I'm too impatient to play a mix-up lacking character like Ein. Hayate is almost great, but built incorrectly. Smh.

    Almost too simple sometimes, he was designed for DOA2 and altered to hold his own in the DOA3 and DOA4 system but DOA5/5U is something completely different. They need to rework him a little among some others.

    I agree. A little re-working and he'd be right where he needs to be.
    Never thought I'd match the old bnb for Ein's 1KK but I did. I wonder who else will figure it out.

    Yea. Ever since I saw Ein in 3P, 6KK in DOA4, I hoped that there was something better. I thought about 6K, 6KK but it was impossible because you couldn't use the same move twice in a juggle then follow up.

    In this game that rule was dropped (Eliot Choryu/h3p).

    6K, 6KK was my dream but 6K, PP6PK is just a flawless development. 6K works better than 3P in this case because even if you're point blank when you do 1KK, 3P doesn't have the range to work in both open and closed stance. 6K is more damage and more reliable. Also 66K, 6KK should be new as well.
