    Hi Tokyo PewPew, it's a little embrassing but since the release of DoA5U I wasn't able to understand how work properly the force techs in the remake of DoA5 (and I never focused myself on this matter, shame on me). Exactly when are you able to hit someone on the ground, and when your attacks didn't make effect? Being so glad to help Argentus, I was asking if you could give me a brief answer.

    5U has given people also more invincibility frames on the ground and while rising up via tech roll. General rule is, that you won't be able to hit someone if he does not stay on the ground for like one or two seconds with the intention of doing a wakeup-kick.

    Well it's embarassing because it'a so basic topic and even having played the game for so much time I have gaps even on this and similar matters.

    Thanks so much for the exhaustive answer: so the key of everything is the hard knockdown, this is the info that I was missing. I will try to get more infos about them for the characters that I use.

    Yes, to an intuitive level I know about the prolonged invicible frames on the ground and generally I'm able to use it on my advantage if I'm the beaten the chara the opponent doesn't get them in consideration. However it's the same reason because in the opposite circumstance hardly I can defend from them if not keeping the distance.

    The new layout looks great. Though I miss the "Whats new" button a bit, that overview was very helpful. Is it still available somewhere?

    I don't think because so far she didn't demonstrate in any way to consider hesrelf Kasumi (as the Fake one in DoA5) or to be eager of part of her life (as the twisted obsession of Kasumi Alpha with Hayate). On the opposite Phase 4 seems aware to have the role of an human weapon, and indeed has just doubts if really she can't aspire to be something different (a thing even tied to her character not hostile for nature).

    You bring up another interesting subject @Malfury. Does Phase know her name due to having it obtained from her progenitor? Does she think she's Kasumi? Stuff for a lot of imaginations :D

    By the way, while i'm not sure if Phase 4 know or has an opinion about Kasumi, I don't think that she consider "Phase-4" a true name, very likely just an identification. I'm sure that she would answer to the question: "What is your name?" with "I have no name" ='(

    lol dope, someone over at stack overflow found my mistake, I had
    echo "$sum" inside the loop so it kept printing out the numbers, just had to move it outside the loop, fucking WOW LOL

    Phase is not included not because she's 'evil', otherwise Rig wouldn't be included too. Happy the males finally get a bit more attention now :p

    Same here, but who cares about the W/L? If I play with my friends, I have more or less a 50% ratio. I'd rather lose a ton against good players and learn, instead of winning easy fights. You're a good player Pew, you shouldn't look only at W/L.

    Naaaaah, I do not look only at win/lose, I just register it as some kind of additional information after having played some matches. I don't care about my current ratio and I wouldn't care if it would be like in my first post. Actually, I was not that serious :>

    I have an Xbox One and an Xbox 360 at the moment. I will first buy the One version, but considering I have 360 friends playing DOA as well, I might as well buy both versions. What about you?

    I'm asking because I'm not sure which one of the next gen consoles I should buy once LR is out. I'm not interested in any other games for these consoles yet and I'd have to pay on both for playing online, so I don't see any clear advantages for one.
