However, when it comes to leveling up and improving, cause that is a huge component to a games Longevity (no matter what game it is), it is one aspect where Tekken is severely flawed. Honestly, I'd trade all the DLC in Tekken for a damn tutorial and in game frame data. At least the people I play then would actually level up and know more stuff...

I have never really played Tekken but I think the absence of a tutorial makes it difficult for the newer players to get the basics down, which is quite important since they need to start somewhere too. Also having to go on the internet to search everything is really silly imo

Vs only being versatile in the amount of customizations they have. How can you have more outfits than ways to punish and counter and heck even combo is beyond my comprehension.

Heck how can you play Tekken for a damn year, have 5000 wins or whatever and only know Sample combo 3? At that point it's either two things: You ain't improving or the game ain't teaching you nothing. That's all for now.

These players aren't children who need to be taking care of as such. I'm not saying let them learn on their own, but most green/(some) blue players have been playing for years. You're also talking about players complaining about spamming. Instead of complaining, wouldn't it be better to ask for help? A tutorial won't change their mindset.

Overall I would imagine Tekken having a really strange learning curve based on what I just read. But its also kinda intriguing, having no tutorial and learning the game fully from scratch seems interesting (atleast if youre not lazy)

@Mama No one is saying to baby these players. In fact it's because of the babying and stuff that led tekken to where it is now. But what I'm saying is whether you played for a year or 5-6 years and they've been blue or green, if your level of progression has remained stagnant through all the Tekken years, then it's a problem.

Adding characters like Claudio, Kazumi, etc isn't solving the issue. It just mask the issue for a short period of time. Adding fundoshi's isn't adding 100 points to your defense game and unlocking punishment tools. It's a cosmetic that makes your character look whatever way until I see him laying on the ground with the KO sign in front of my screen.

Why cause this games lack of tutorial reduces players to knowing sample combo 3 and seeing which character's sample combo 3 is better until you play someone who knows how to counter that crap. I shouldn't only have to resort to playing WayGamble or Shadow and such to improve my game. But playing shitty green/blue ranks who have more customizations than ways to win reduces my tournament preparation to that.

All because a game has no tutorial or in-game frame data that at least gives players no excuse at all to remain as stagnant as they are. And this ain't some EVO champion speaking but this is a dude who likes to compete, improve, and playing garbage cause Harada feels adding damn offline bowling (Which is reduced to trash) is more important than teaching players the damn fundamentals of the game isn't in my forte.

Claudio isn't really easy tho imo, he's simple to pick up but he's limited which forces the player to learn about mix ups and proper conditioning. kazumi js obviously good but she won't be in T8 so I feel her addition was a bit pointless. And what does outfits have to do with this? XD

I love tekken and will support it. But I will call out BS when I see it. This is for a fact one of them. No if's, and's, or but's about it. It's utter garbage at this point.

@KasumiLover69 Simple: Players have more outfits for characters than ways to win with characters and improve with characters.

I think everyone does tho tbh XD There's nothing wrong with customizing your favorite characters, plus Tekken is also popular amongst casual players too

There’s no excuse for why a tutorial shouldn’t be in the game. I mean if you can add a mini game you can add a tutorial. And ya’ll need to stop justifying this bullshit for whatever reason. The game should have a tutorial, period.

Its not justification, they have helpful videos and tips on their channel and on pro players stuff. The no tutorial card only works for so long, just fight and get experience xD if someone can't do that then tekken is probably not the game for you, especially since its not that hard to get into

Obviously a game isn’t hard for you to get into if you play it for a very long time. And it is justifying for them not having a tutorial.

@King Anubis Tekken isn't hard in general, its like DOA but doesn't have holds to get you out of situations
