Anyway... There could be a number reasons not to use your main... but if its a serious fight... like Grand Finals Level type serious... then yeah... not using your main is essentially just pulling your punches.

your main character isn't always gonna be your strongest option. like for me, i main nyotengu, but there are plenty of match ups where i'd rather use my secondaries cuz picking nyo = death
