We got our problems but we have free speech here and the right to defend ourselves.

It's being controlled by Republicans and rich old white men. They don't care about their people.

It was a mess since Sandy Hook and that was with Obama. It's been happening long before Trump was in play and only gotten worse since that point

These comments are depressingly myopic.

Why are “free speech” and “the right to defend ourselves” the main 2 excuses to justify how screwed up that country is? People act like USA is the only country with free speech and the right to defend themselves.
There are many countries where people have free speech and can defend themselves, I don’t see how defending yourself should involve guns.

We have problems here in America, no doubt but so does every other country on this planet. Our country isn't nearly as screwed up as people think it is first off and second off the proposed solution to people being shitty parents to their kids who grow up into active shooters almost invariably ends with people wanting to curtail speech and the ability to defend themselves. Thats what I was getting at.

It’s crazy how people that are underage can’t buy guns, but they can buy hunting rifles.
The fact that you can’t even go to school or a gaming event without having the fear of somebody starting a mass shooting is just insane.

Again, shitty parents not raising their kids properly(and not putting their guns in a fucking gun safe as they should). Did you know that there was a time where you could send your kid to the hardware store to buy a gun in America? Also did you know up until about 1985 you could go to a gun store and buy fully automatic weapons provided the cash? Active shooters weren't the rage back then but why?

The parents of these shitheads are to blame and the perpetrator. No one or nothing else.

So if I decide to shoot up a school, killing innocent people, it’s my parent’s fault? That is the most stupidest thing I’ve read this morning. Some people are raised in a loving household and still end up being killers.

Do some research on spree shooters and killers before you call someone stupid please.
