Raidou still looks like hot garbage, according to Shimbori the story is 2 hours long and it was his focal point as to why some characters would be cut. IDK I just expected more with how much momentum DOA5 brought to the series. I'll get over it, but I'm disappointed today.

Do people expect fighting game stories to be longer? 2 hours is fine, it’s like a little movie. And you’re basing Raidou being garbage based on so little footage? I agree about the roster being based around the plot to be dumb though

2 hours is not fine to me when that was his reason for cutting characters. The game is one month away, and it does not look complete to me. Maybe it's the graphics of the stages.

I'm perfectly fine with DOA's story being 2 hours long, because its the same thing almost every goddamn game: Kasumi clones that have to be stopped, or Donovan has to be stopped, or someone from the Mugen Tenshin clan needs to be stopped, which is usually done by the ninjas. I really don't mind cut characters as long as they don't cut someone like Jann Lee or Tina from the game.
