    The FSD community is really chill. It's where I feel most at home as well.
    Watching really good fighting game players try out DOA for the first time and be totally lost reminds me how hard I think DOA is to learn. At first, DOA didn't make any sense

    i think people are used to fg being complex from jump, but DOA isn't like that. and they make it harder on themselves

    I think DOA is harder to learn than any other fighting game I've played, and I think it's because the combo system is so different.
    I'm glad they added rematches in DOA6, I just wish people used it! I'm tired of the salty 1-1

    In my case, players rematch frequently. Win or lose, it always puts a smile on my face when I see "Your opponent wants to fight again" at the bottom of the screen.

    When I see "Your opponent wants to fight again" immediately when I'm checking out my results and swag, I tend to think their salty haha. But yeah, I hate "rematch declined"'s. Though, some of them are timeouts, so I intentionally go through my stats slowly in case before I choose to ask for a rematch.
    Just put together a Mila combo that takes a whopping 196 points of damage. It's not very optimal considering stage position, or meter, but it was fun to see how far I could push it. Combos are so much more fun now
    Almost completed DOA Quest, and I've gotten exactly 1 outfit for Mila. Meanwhile I have all of Brad and Lisa's dirty laundry. This sucks
    There is seriously something wrong with how DOA6 registers fightsticks. The menus will double tap, but not in gameplay. And it doesn’t happen in any other game at all. Hopefully this can be fixed
    Fellow stick users, are you encountering problems with inputs on the menus? When I hit up or right it will register a double tap. I would think my stick is just broken, but in training mode it displays the correct inputs, no double directions. Any idea?

    Yeah if you flick the joystick while selecting menus it counts the down and the return to neutral as an up.

    Even when I do it slow and deliberate, it’ll still jump up twice. I don’t get it
    I’m glad I play DOA for the gameplay, because the story mode is trash
    L3+Up for a reset in training mode? What were they thinking?

    Literally my fightpad doesn't have L3 or R3 unless I give up two shoulder buttons I use...

    Someone in a thread mentioned that throws don’t track in 6. Is that true? Do we have confirmation?

    Throws track. They always do. Its just that if you commence a throw too late during a an attack from a step you'll get hit. Immediate throw upon SS will connect.

    Yeah after playing more of the beta, they definitely track. Don’t know what that guy was on about
    I’m having a blast with the beta, but I was wondering how everyone felt about input delay. I haven’t felt much, but a buddy swears it messes him up constantly

    Its definitely there, although it tends to fluctuate depending on connection. Sometimes I had little or no ID in 3 bar fights but then I've also had 4 or 5 bar ones where the ID is really heavy as if its lagging and it makes it hard to accurately counter or react to things you know you were about to

    Okay, that’s what I felt so far. One match had about a full second of delay, it was ridiculous. The rest were playable, or at least on par with 5.
