Let's be real, Negan looks weird as shit in Tekken. Diego looks better least in the face department because whenever Negan chuckles or smiles, the cheeks glitch out lol. Namco's worst guest entries in Tekken had to be Negan and Noctis. It was super good with Geese and Akuma, but now...lol

Some of Diego's animations are fine but I think Negan is worse since his style doesn't seem to use much if any motion capture, Diego has a few moves that look like they came from someone else

I won't dismiss Diego though yeah. But imagine paying tons of money for the wrong guest character and make him look weird lol.

Negan, is probably the worst guest character I’ve seen for a fighting game. I hate to say this, but even Naotora is a better guest character than Negan. In my opinion fighting games should actually have guests from other fighting games.

Diego has some REALLY awkward looking animations, I wish they would’ve replaced him with Rachel.

DOA site shitting on Tekken randomly. And you guys tell me, "We don't shit on other games." Stop it. Also Diego's animations are too loose and ruby. I like how people trying to talk when they don't animate themselves.

Also play Negan, he actually plays well.

@MasterHavik how are we shitting on other games tho? The three of us play and like Tekken, but you gotta keep it 100, the game looks bad xD before DOA6 came out I remember thinking T7 looked so great but as other games and DOA6 came I couldn't be fooled anymore, the game isn't up to par graphically or animation wise to DOA6 xD still love the game tho

DOA 5 is jsut an upscale of DOA 5 on the DW9 engine. I really don't get why it is fun now to say Tekken looks bad. I am guessing since Tekken 7 is doing so well we gotta make shit up to throw shade at it. I don't even have T7 or play it like that and think this jab at its graphics is not only childish, salty, but kind of also, "Do you know what good graphics is?"

DOA 6 looks good, but the sweat on the guys is legit baby oil and the art direction on some costumes is suspect. The animation of DOA are greatly recycle and reused through each and every games and any new animations is very rubberish and loose. Not as smooth as some other games.

People have been saying T7 been look bad tho which it does compared to other other games, it looks visually rougher and downgraded compared to TT2 but the lighting and stages are good. DOA6 isn't perfect but it looks way better than T7 does all around, I like both games equally but I can say honestly that DOA6 looks better than T7 and SC6(which kinda looks like a remastered SC5 for current gen consoles)

@MasterHavik Don't get me wrong, I like Tekken. I think some of the characters they have breathe more life than DOA, but regarding Negan, him and Noctis was a terrible decision in the atmosphere department. Harada should of included more fighting game characters but that's just me. It was perfect with Geese and Akuma. If anything, should of just stopped there if they don't know who to bring as guests.

Of course MasterHavik is here to white knight Tekken 7 despite the fact that my post did not in any way insinuate that Tekken 7 looks "bad". I just think both Negan & Diego look terrible in their respective games. Any "negative" criticism's to Tekken 7's graphics are justified because the game could look so much better compared to both DOA6 & SC6, which look a lot better and are from the same console generation.

I'm definitely no Tekken hater. I enjoyed and I support the game series for how it is (I mean for sake of everything, when I get the time I always watch the tournaments because they be hype as shit, even more when Rangchu won the tour with Panda who was arguably considered one of the worst characters in the series, so low tier hype boosts it). You just can't defend Tekken regarding Negan imo.

^ Yeah for sure. I try to support 3D fighters, and the 3D scene here when I can because FG players commonly have a tendency to just favour 2D fighters. Basically I just want the best from the 3D scene and don't want it to get complacent.

T5 was the peak for Tekken when it had less combo starters, more poke focused. Felt like VF. I like the feel of T5. T7 is cool but guest character wise they seem to be going after easy money from casuals that recognize them and completely stop once they know they can't play 'em. Tekken graphically was never that great. It's like GTA. Even VF toppled Tekken in plenty areas. Tekken had dat look of putting sharpness 100

It's not that, it's just that Tekken stopped getting good guests after Geese. Geese was arguably the best one and made sense to the game. He literally oozes in that environment and atmosphere. Fighting game characters joining other fighting games is literally the best general thing, but companies get out of hand going for Star Wars, Negan etc. and put them in that environment where it's like "huh, weird".

Yeah keep it fighting genre, I'd say.

Yeah I didn't even know about him but apparently my 8 and 10 year old cousins did since they recognized him when I let them play it which was amusing xD
