The whole game is braindead, it was developed with the mashy scrubs in mind to enjoy it, which they couldn't in 5, a mashers safe space DOA. So glad it was thrown out of EVO, totally deserved by its low quality.

Oh please, all you did in 5 was low hold and abuse guaranteed set ups and you wanna talk about 6 being brain dead? Funny. With the new mechanic DOA6 became a whole lot more interesting.

What guaranteed set ups? Gen doesn't have any as far as I know; even his SDS isn't guaranteed. I'm sure you like 6, you were probably the target audience, but I haven't heard off any top player that thinks 6 is better mechanics wise than 5.

Yeah, because top players decide wether a game is good or not. Just because top players XYZ think older mechanics were better doesn’t mean the older mechanics are actually better. It’s an opinion, not a fact

Gen Fu did have guaranteed sit down stun setups. His 3PP - 33P - 33P - 66 Close Hit 16P is guaranteed if the 2nd hit of 3PP is a counter hit.

Yes, they decide if it's good competitively or not; appealing to the casual masses means less competitive quality for the game as they are mutually exclusive.

@KING JAIMY Gen's SDS is not guaranteed, you can stagger out of it.

3PP - 33P - 33P is totally guaranteed afaik I'd love to see someone escape from it because I've never been able to do it before.
