I like Lisa in theory, she's a grappler with good movement options and gaurdbreaks for days, which sounds like it's right up my alley. But then I actually play her and she just feels awkward af. I dunno what it is but I just don't gel with her at all

Huh. Yeah, sometimes that happens. She's actually very intuitive for me, but different strokes for different folks, I suppose.
I do know quite a few Nyo players who flirt with Lisa in DOA6 and vice versa, however, hence the recommendation.
