He uses jigglypuff, who's considered to be the best tourney character in melee due to her being ez to play and incredibly effective. But the weird thing in melee is despite her being one of the best characters, melee players don't use her because she's considered boring to play and boring to watch. She easily has the best keep away, run away, and camping, which is frowned upon in melee where most players are...

More about playing cool, highly technical, high execution characters (fox, falcon, marth, etc). This is why Hbox gets a lot of hate cause he pretty much is like "fuck playing these cool characters, I'm just gonna master the best character in the game and dominate" which he's been doing for the past couple of years, and players give him shit for going against the cool character meta, it's a werid situation lol

Another concern is that ppl think the success of jiggylypyff will kill melee since no one likes to watch her play, and if Hbox keeps succeeding and jigglypuff keeps making top 8, viewership will die and melee will follow suit, I personally don't think it's true, but it is one of the bigger reasons why the melee community is very anti-jigglypuff/anti-Hbox, that's why I consider melee to be a spectator e-sport
